150

First time poster, please be nice… :)

Saw this while scrolling Facebook. Included is:

1 x Hammer Drill Driver DCD778
1 x Impact Drill Driver DCF787
2 x 2.0Ah Li-Ion batteries DCB183XE
Multi-voltage charger
Storage bag

I tried to add it to the cart and check if available for delivery, but it looks like it's C&C only as there's no option for delivery?

Advertised on Home Timber & Hardware site for same price as well: https://www.homehardware.com.au/dewalt-18v-brushless-xr-liio…

Enjoy!

Pretty sure they ran the same kit but with a 6ah Flexvolt battery for $299 not long ago (better deal IMO). Didn’t include the bag though.

I got this set when Masters closed down for $149 great tools, I highly recommend, Shelved my Ryobi ones almost immediately.

Nice find but these both machines are very basic. Only for DIY home and not a serious handyman.

    • Fair enough, I figured they might appeal to some :)

I wouldn't consider myself a serious handyman, but I use AEG power tools for stuff around the house…got a hammer drill kit and electric lawnmower for Christmas which so far have been pretty stellar.

AEG? I just finished my second deck build with Ozito tools!

        • Im on the Fence and interested in your thoughts on Ozito

I have a Good Dewalt Tool with 6ah battery, so understand a good tool

But now i need an impact driver, a saw of some type, a jigsaw.. maybe a couple of big batteries

Are the Ozito powerfull enough? Dont loose their punch?

          • @markryan1971: There's a reason why tradies don't use Ozito.. just continue buying into the Dewalt ecosystem - lasts forever and you can't go wrong with the grunt and durability.

            • @ncmx5: Not a tradie - plus to add on what i need, its double or more the price of Ozito.

i know you get what you pay for just curious for a review on Ozito

@markryan1971: I would not go with ozito, used them and underpowered. Cheap with good power is ryobi.

But saying that give something a try and if you don't like it take it back. It's bunnings so no biggie

          • @markryan1971: As a now retired old fiddler, I really like the ozito for value. I've got a bunch of 18v in a mix of brushless and brush, drill, impact drive, angle grinder, rattle gun, vacuum plus lots of batteries. While I was still working a lot we had mostly Makita stuff, but with my own money I'm more an ozito man…
            I also drive a Kia though ;)
