Andre the Giant "Anybody want a peanut!?"

  • It's still real to me damn it!

I watched an ep recently, with no crowds in the arena. It was just too weird and flat, I couldn't do it - it wasn't so much the wrestling wasn't entertaining enough, it was more that the announcers seemed too amped and excited given there was no crowd. I still think they (and the NRL) would do better if they set up a bunch of Zoom laptops and piped actual fans-at-home reactions through the audio.

Yeah I'll have to pass on that recommendation, it sounds absolutely awful. I would rather listen to nothing at all.

    • Try AEW, they have crew and non-working talent ringside.

    • FYI, as of last week they now have their developmental talent ringside (albeit behind Plexiglas) on their live shows as an audience

  • This just on a website or is there a app for it too for devices?

  • Rock v Stone Cold! Ooohhh yeah

  • Anybody who likes wrestling from 90s and earlier should watch dark side of the ring. Awesome doco series about older wrestlers involved with murder, corruption and everything else. McMahon may have even covered up some of these murders and charges by bribing the cops!

    • FYI It's on SBS streaming for free

  • I just tried to sign up through https://watch.wwe.com and its asking me for payment information (Credit Card/Paypal/Gift Card).

Has anyone been able to sign up for free?
