  • Would these be suitable for elderly people, as in easy to slip on and off or would you need to bend down to pull them on? Looks like a nice deal, thanks op!

    • +5

These need to be pulled on, we wouldn't recommend for elderly

      • Thank you! Any others you would recommend? Ideally closed back.

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: Wow I ordered a pair from this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/540285 and you sent me this cheaper pair of mini ugg boots, and what's worst is it came in the wrong size, how could a company stuff up an order so bad? I tried ringing your physical store and got left through a voicemail message. Emailed you and still haven't got a respond yet. I would suggest you spend the time satisfy your existing customers before expanding to new ones.

            • +6

@Butterveggietoast: Hey rep, respond to this customer!

              • +1

@CocaKoala: Ok just a quick update, I got in contact with the rep here and the rep was quick to respond, referred me to an email that got me a Return Authorisation for an exchange pretty quick. Will let you guys know on the overall experiences once I get an exchange.

            • @Butterveggietoast: Did you get a "made by UGG Australia" brand? Thats what they sent me last time.

              • @JakeZ: Rep pretends to respond, however I doubt anyone has actually received an email response.

                • +1

@hypie: yeah I'm going to give it couple of days, if it takes too long I'm just going to dispute with paypal/creditcard option

                • @hypie: I've had email responses. Utterly pointless ones, but email responses none the less.

              • +1

@JakeZ: Hey, yeah I got the tag "Made by UGG Australia" attached to it

            • +1

@Butterveggietoast: Similar here. Ordered one pair and received the incorrect size.

              • +3

@x Moe: So dodgy. They advertise a "premium brand" then send you some no-brand shoe and the website doesn't even work. That has to breach some rules. Check out my comment below where the rep says that there is little difference. There's little difference between a Nissan and Toyota but if I bought one and got the other I would be unhappy.

              • +2

@x Moe: has your situation been resolved? my feet getting cold waiting for their resolution lol

                • +1

@Butterveggietoast: To be honest, given everything I have been reading about their customer service, I haven't even bothered contacting them. Seems more effort than it's worth for $74 (not the ozbargain way, I know). Thought I'd at least post here to warn people to not buy from this company. They seem to struggle with pretty basic things.

            • @Butterveggietoast: please dm me your order number

          • +6

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: Never buy the princess ones. Please see my experience below.

I bought my pair of slipperies back in end of March which is delivered early April. Faulty product, not even the first layer of leather, big hole found the first week. Then they promised to provide an exchange but need to send the broken ones back. After sending them back, nightmare started from there…

I have sent them more than a dozen emails but never reply. From the phone, the guy has been promising from phone it will be dispatch the week or the day, blahblahblah. Different excuses every time:
            1. the parcel was delivered and I can see the notification from Aus Post, but saying "can't see them, may take a week" the first time.
            2. "The parcel may be delivered but may be in the warehouse, let me check and send you the exchange back."
            3. "I still cannot see the parcel, but we will still send you the exchange"
            4. "I am not sure why they are not dispatched yet, I will chase it up and let them send them out today. "
            5. "The factory needs to manufacture one for you which may take 2 weeks, we will dispatch by then."
            6. The last call was a lady, told me "the refund is returned to your account" without any notice. And the excuse is "they don't have any stock, hence cannot provide exchange". For god's sake, you are still selling them on your website. What a LIAR!

All this happened in 2 months. TWO MONTHS! Good luck with your people and your products, such product does not deserve the name of "Made in Australia", the service does not deserve the name of "hiring local people and locally operated". Liar company hire liars operated in a dodgy way. Stay away from them.

I wouldn't mind you to tell me take your refund and fxxx off when I reached out the first time. But I am furious that you fooled your customer, kept me waiting for 2 months to give me a shitty excuse and still lies after lies.

      • +1

Someone in Victoria go to there factory in Laverton and stand up for us victims.

        • +3

Going by the other posts, people have turned up at the factory to exchange items and were greeted by the same rude worker that wanted nothing to do with it.
As much as I'm all for supporting local, Aussie made products, the customer service is very lacking with this one.

        • +5

Someone previously went to the warehouse and they threatened to Call the cops even when the person had an email stating to come to the warehouse to exchange. 🤦🏼‍♀️

          • -2

@Kbertram: no sorry that didn't happen. That's a fictional story. We called the police when the person refused to leave after we exchanged and did everything that was asked. we even served her in her car to avoid covid contact.

            • +1

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: How can the story be fictional and true at the same time?
Saying it’s fictional is saying it didn’t happen… then you go on to say it did? And you said she wouldn’t leave? But you served her from her car? So she was in a car park in HER CAR and you called the police on her for being in a car park in her CAR?

              RIIGHHHT

              • @Kbertram: I guess you needed to be here to know? She was blocking our driveway and in the middle of a factory work place where forklifts drive in and out. refusing to leave for no reason at all. she received her replacement.

    • +4

Not suitable for elderly person, very slippery on carpet as sole has got no grip at all.

      • Thanks

    • +1

If you are happy with a min 5-week wait for delivery then go ahead. This is my 5th week still waiting for delivery. They made no effort to reach out and explain any delays. To add, when I purchased there was no mention on their site about any delays, otherwise, I wouldn't have bought. I won't comment on quality until I receive my goods.

  • UGGly

  • Thanks, grabbed a pair. Aussie made unlike some of the others that get posted on here

  • +3

Hmm thinking of grabbing some but some very mixed comments on previous deals

    • -1

We had some delays from deals where 6,000 pairs were sold. Now we are selling stock available only.

    • i bought during the sale last week. according to auspost I am to receive them today.

      • update - mail man came and currently have them on the feet. Initial thoughts are they are snug and happy with the product thus far.

        • +2

Did you recieve the correct branding as per the website or the "made by UGG Australia" brand?

      • This s my 5th week still no delivery.

    • +5

I ordered in the second deal, "500 pairs so we can handle the work load". Took a month to arrive and one is a completely different colour to the other.

The big issue most of OzB has with this company is that they are terrible to respond to issues but will happily start another deal before handling all the issues with the previous ones.

    • I ordered and needed a different size. They replaced it for me with no problems at all. Slightly delayed but all Australia Post is delayed at the moment.
Really warm and comfortable and appears to be excellent quality.

  • I bought this exact pair 2-3 months ago. Very happy so far.

  • +11

How about your respond to your emails?

    • -4

emails go to a different department, please DM me your issue.

      • +4

Great excuse, maybe make the emails go to the same department.
For the record I need 3 pairs of uggs and will not buy from your store due to all the negative reviews.

Btw anyone know of a good place to order uggs from? :)

        • +2

Blue Mountains Ugg boots. They make them in Penrith (I believe from aussie sheepskins and (probably) Chinese soles although I don't know for sure) but I've had mine 5 years now and they're faultless!

          Personal experience so YMMV.

      • I don't think DM can help you solve your issue.

        Guys, please check my experience.

  • I bought a pair during the mothers day sales and I'm still waiting on them. Has anybody else had issues with massive delays in receiving orders?

    • All orders were posted, can you DM your order number so I can search your tracking number

      • Same here, ordered two weeks ago, got nothing. I emailed a week ago and didn't get a response then. Just emailed again now.

      • Hi Marketing could you follow up my order from a month ago, I order 2 pairs last month #25198 and only received 1 pair, I have contacted Ugg twice and yet to receive my order?

        • yes I will follow up now

          • +1

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: Hi Marketing I am following up with your follow up from a week ago? Could you let me know when I should receive my order? Di

  • Bought a pair for $150 a few days ago, any chance you can cancel that if they've not been sent?

    • -2

unfortunately I cant. Please DM me and Ill see what I can do.

      • You can't because it's already sent? Or hasn't been sent and you can't cancel?

  • Do you have a size guide? Or are these true to size (ie. Same as UK/US shoe size)?

    • stick with your US size

      • Hi there,

There's conflicting information here. On the page https://uggaustralia.com.au/pages/size-chart it says 'We recommend sticking with your Australian sizing and not going up a size.' So I ordered a women's size 8. Five minutes later I saw this comment, ordered a size 9, and emailed the team asking them to cancel the original order. Do you think there'll be any issue with this? Who's right here- you or the page?

        • +1

          I wear a US 13 Nike, I wear a US 13 in our brand

        • In my experience buying scuffs, they were much smaller than I was expecting (and therefore do not fit).

          • +1

@Duckman: yeah same, the scuffs are too small, can't wear them

  • Bought two pairs of scuffs during one of their recent deals. One of the pairs looks absolutely nothing like the photos (totally different colour) and neither of the pairs is comfortable or well made. I regret the purchase.

    • +1

Mine are fantastic, no complaints,I also have the waterproof EMU brand , the quality is fairly similar in my opinion, maybe write to Ugg and voice your grievances…

      • +3

Lol. Good luck with that. Their customer service is appalling ime. Ymmv.

  • Placed an order for my wife. Thank you for the post. Hopefully a quick delivery……. Great price if they get here in the timeframe which I need them

  • Thanks OP bought

  • Bought a pair a couple of months ago, the sole isn't great but they're warm and comfortable. At $58 they're good value

  • +19

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY!
have a look at product review website at all the negative reviews, the horrible way they treat customers when emailing about their order. I waited 4 and a half weeks for my order and when I questioned why the tracking info says it hasn’t even been picked up from the warehouse in a month I was spoken to like I was trash and insinuating I was trying to scam them. 😡😡
Do your research and I can guarantee you won’t want to buy from them.

    • +2

What a timing , just as I posted a good review I noticed you had Posted not so good one . Hope your problem gets resolved . They were outstanding dealing with any queries I had . Just works on , how you Speak I suppose !

    • +4

Does the K stand for Karen? Sounds like you got a reasonable response from them……

"your order was collected and lost by Auspost, that's the facts. We replaced as soon as Auspost confirmed the lost parcel." - UggAustraliaOfficial 27/5/20

      • +7

I’m not the only one that had nothing but problems with this company.
No actually they didn’t replace as soon as auspost confirmed because they emailed me saying it was my responsibility to follow up with auspost that they wouldn’t do anything until I got back to them with an investigation from auspost and at the time auspost were no contactable via phone etc due to covid they were only taking calls about lost medications of birth Certs etc.

I had to call the warehouse after my emails were basically either ignored or got told it’s my problem and chase auspost. Like I stated about check the product review website they are a joke.

Just because they stated in a comment here that’s what they did doesn’t mean that’s what actually happened. The company is built on lies.

        • +3

it is what actually happened, Im the one who posted them for you.

        • -1

Do you just have notifications on Ugg deals? Seems to be the only posts you voted/comment on.

          • +3

@PumaPants: It’s the only deal I have bought via ozbargain and it’s been a nightmare. So forgive me for voicing my opinion on the only thing I have purchased so far.

            • +2

@Kbertram: No that makes sense. Hopefully you have a better experience with other deals.

  • -4

I love UGGAustraliaOfficial , bought few pairs of Uggs slip on on Mother’s Day special Sale . Their customer service is 5 stars . Thank you , Quality stuff !

    • +6

      lies

    • +3

Same here. I ordered at the height of the shutdown and still managed get mine in a matter of days. Happy customer with warm feet 👍

  • +1

I did not order in the first batch. I ordered in the deal listed less than a week ago and I am wearing my ugg boots right now. Very happy with them, the sole moulding is slightly slippery on certain surfaces fresh out of the packaging - if you just scuff the soles a bit this will fix itself up pretty much straight away.

    • I agree here,i did the same because i was unsteady on my feet at the time not once were they slippery on vinyl…

  • Thanks, giving them a try.

  • Am I missing something? I go to the page and it's $150 for me

    • +3

      Use coupon code ozbugg.

  • +1

Good product but both my orders arrived in 3 weeks. Be prepared to wait.

  • Thanks,
    Bought a pair,
    hopefully they go alright

  • +1

They said they'd only sell the stock they had last time, still took a month to be sent.

Just bear it in mind – you won't have these for 1/3 of winter.

    • -7

all previous sale orders were sent the following day

      • +9

lies it took over 3 weeks to get a response on an incorrect order. you guys are extremely rude and terrible to deal with. was dealing with anthony and scott.

  • OP - happy to buy a pair for my wife. How do these compare with the sizes sold by Ugg Express? She normally wears a women's size 7 shoe/runner but I bought the last pair of Uggs from Ugg Express in women's size 6/EU37, and she says that the size was good.

  • +8

I got a couple of pairs on a previous ozbargain deal. I have to say, I was super disappointed. Price was fine, delivery was fine, service was fine.

I didn't like the product. Had the opal flats and the speed at which the they broke apart were alarming to me. I looked after them. Wearing them 2 or 3 times the wool all started pulling away and disconnecting from the upper sole. I recall being more than suprised. It was so bad that it was one of those situations you know you'd be up against it. Just simply looked like significant abuse - it wasn't. Chalked it up to a lesson learnt. I never could comprehend why it happened. OP… this has to be something you have heard before.. surely I didn't have the few lemons of the batch?
