If I didn't know any better I'd think Ozbargain was full of StarBuy shills

(StarBuy is cool though so, shill away I guess)

      • I’ve sent two emails to them over the last few months and haven’t had a reply. One was in regards to a possible faulty product (which I’ve since rectified myself) and the other an enquiry about an upcoming release. On the other hand I received exceptional service from Wallace Bishop. I know people rave about them but for whatever reason I’ve had a bad experience with their CS.

        • They have an OzB Rep under the name Star Jewels which is very helpful. I've only ever contacted them here for enquiries.

        • They've been good to me. All Seiko's with aligned chapter rings. One came with a scratched bracelet and they replaced it within the week. No free shipping though for returns.

    • Have you been watch shopping lately? Starbuy have great prices for and AD.

      • Yep I've bought multiple watches from StarBuy, with good service. I am a fan. I merely find it amusing their StarDeal/Deal of the Day page is posted to OzBargain almost every single day of the year with regularity. At this rate the web guys at OZB may as well link that page to the front navigation menu of the site.

        • Not much competition unfortunately and domestic market dominated by chains.

Its a nice watch up to 4 year power reserve. When you store the watch, the hands stop (minute and hour). When you shake the watch again, the hands automatically move to the correct time. I have a SNP139P1

  • Do the kinetic replacement batteries still cost about $200 to install?

I got mine replaced and pressure tested for $99 recently for an SKA463.

  • Ain't Nobody Got Time for That

  • would get this if I didnt have enough watches!

    • I didnt have enough watches

      Is it ever truly enough?
