I bought one a while back and couldn't get it working. Returned it and the shop assistant couldn't get it working too and threw it in the bin. I recommend spend a bit more. Its very cheaply made.

I impulse bought the 2-pack of these at full price before. They do the job, barely, but not good value anymore really. They are using old school LEDs so quite inferior brightness to the kind of SMD/COB LED headlamps.

When aldi do their next camping/ zoom headtorches I'd buy one, mine is going strong 3 years down the line (other than the silver cover coming off but I bineed that). It's bright and can zoom, and the spot beam throws for 60+m as well as allowing a useful flood. Only wish it would turn off without cycling through the strobe function! But for $4.99 it was and is good value.
