Agreed, it is normal price, I have this light, it's OK. I would prefer if they used AA instead of AAA batteries,
as they hold 3X the amount of power over the AAA, which of course means the light can stay on 3X the longer.
Even if it only had 2AA batteries it would still last twice as long as the 3AAA batteries which are in this headlamp.Except probably wouldn't be this price if they had to put in a voltage booster or something to run off 2xAAs.
It's annoying when they make bigger devices still run off 3xAAAs instead of AAs though.
For the price these are very good, it's come in handy a bunch of times. Crawling under the house, working on the car at night, fixing/working on a pc keeping hands free. Also comes with batteries. 100 lumens is plenty bright for most tasks.
Cons: The lid for the battery compartment is poorly designed.
AAA batteries.Any good for jogging at night?
Probably not. But for biking is perfect (if not too bright to incoming traffic in the highest setting).
Yes, it's the normal price. Still a bargain, though.
