  • I tip my hat to you sir.

Tastes much better from the tap. However, with QLD still in lockdown, can't really complain

All beer is better from the tap

    • +1

Pubs are open mate. Been 3 times this week. Nice to have tap beer again.

  • Where are you seeing $11? I just bought a six pack from my local uncle dan's (NSW) for $12…

  • Need to sign in.

  • How long will this price last for? Still got a few beers left from previous deals

Drink up tonight then place an order.

    • +1

You can order now and select a pick up date anytime in the next 6 weeks.

      • oh nice! just confirming they don't prepare the order until the pickup date?
        keen to avoid stale beer!

        • I don't know, I never order in advance.

        • +3

Have ordered for a future date. However on the three occasions they put it in the pick up area and sent me the text to pick it up within a day. Wren I questioned this as it was ordered for 3 weeks time was just told they fill the orders as they come through. Would not risk it unless you want 6 weeks of extra shelf time

          • @ern123: thanks mate! that's what i was worried about!
will order mine later this month i suppose

        • They do prepare the order 1 day in advance to be safe got the stock! Keep them chill

  • good deal

  • Just bought a pack in Vic for $11. Not a bad beer especially at that price.

    • 375ml too

Still very expensive for a crappy beer like this. Better to avoid drinking piss.

    • +1

why is it bad? I really enjoy Furphy

Same can be said for over 80% of beer sales in australia

      • Agreed. I only commented because the marketing says "embraced by Victorians as a local beer made for local people"

NSW $12 for pack of 6

    • -1

At $48 for a case (in NSW), there are other alternatives, like James Boags Premium (with Woolies docket) $48 from BWS

      • Good deal, $12 in Qld but will get 2x six packs.

Boags is good for the price too, and full sized bottles. Not many proper sides cans/stubs these days, annoying paying more for less. Been getting the of six pack of Asahi with the $14 docket out of convenience at vintage cellars, the most of pay lol.

      • And now Peroni for $48

      • Not everyone can afford a case.

  • Well, you don't know if you don't try it! Bought a pack if is good I buy more :)

you know what tastes better and cost less? your own urine.

    • +3

Based on your recent experience? What made you decide to take that route if you don't mind me asking?

      • +3

Got drunk on Furphy and got a "bit wild".

      • To misquote black-adder, The captain said in the the pirate episode - "Unlike the average seafarer, Kamsi actually seems to prefer drinking his own urine to water. Percy notes that Kamsi began doing so before the water ran out… "

    • +6

Geez a man can't like his own urine these days without getting down votes.. The world's gone crazy I tell ya.

  • Got 2 X grey Goose and 2 X Furphy. Grey Goose is 0.05 more than amazon but its okay.

    • Grey Goose is 0.05 more than amazon but its okay.

      Okay? OKAY??

      That is far from okay.
