I recently bought the Life p2 and very impressed with the quality only thing I can complain is the button when u press it, it digs deeper in your ear canal and makes it very uncomfortable. Overall it is a very good product

Don’t be fooled by the marketing and the fact that “flawless calls” is printed on the box - these are TERRIBLE for calls.

HearID is amazing to set a custom EQ for you, and sound quality is very good. Fit is 50-50, if it’s good it is great, otherwise they constantly feel like they’ll slip out. 5 sets of tips, but one of my ears simply doesn’t abide (the other is perfect).

But do not buy these for calls as they are the worst truly wireless I’ve used for the purpose.

Also pairing is annoying at times, sometimes only one bud connects. But on the plus, they can be used individually (with some trickery for the left bud - take it out of the case, leave the right bud in the case then shut the case and wait 5s…).

Not only the manufacturer but also several reviews say they are great for calls. Anyone else got experience?

Have you seen any reviews with actual samples of the microphone performance? Voices are tinny, washed out and heavily muffled by any background noise. Read the review published here and listen to the actual samples: https://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/anker/soundcore-li…

"The microphone recording quality on the Liberty Air 2 is passable. Like most Bluetooth headphones, the speech recorded with this microphone will sound muffled and lacking in detail."

"The microphone's noise handling is only adequate. The person on the other end of the line should have no problem hearing you in very quiet situations, but likely won't hear you in even moderately loud environments like a busy street."

Also keep in mind that Anker/Soundcore run heavy 'influencer' marketing campaigns, handing out lots of freebies.

This is what their own support wrote to me when I questioned call quality on my pair:
"Due to the long distance from the mouth, call quality of Total Wireless Earphone is usually not good. Due to the limitation of the current chip platform, the noise cannot be solved at this moment. Our team has also tried hard to balance the mic sound quality and noise for this newest version. Surely we will keep working for the improvement."

      • I own the life p2 which is quite very similar with liberty air 2, bought 2x for a friend as well and I must say the call quality is very good as if u were holding the phone normally and background noise is reduced during call, Audio quality to me is superb even at this price point and I am very impressed this is as far as my experience with my actual Life P2. The only thing I would be after the liberty air 2 is the touch control and wireless charging capability. I would have by one if I havent got the Life p2.

  • looks like NOT that bad in sound quality- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tM1SzDito6M
