Nice, but wish the green one was the same.

Nice price but bear in mind that the new divers (55th anniversary) should arrive next month, which look very nice. RRP will be close to double this but so is the RRP of the Sumos if I’m not mistaken.

Yeah but limited watches won't discount from RRP anywhere near the same as regular stock lines.

      • From what I’ve read, it’s only the SPB149 (blue one) that’s limited, but you’re probably right - they won’t be near this price.

        • only 40mm and 5,500 units and $1,3k usd… forget it… all the collectors will clean it up day one

very very nice but you couldnt wear it given its collector status, it'll double in less than 3yrs

          • @tonyjzx: The standards/ non limited are SPB143, SPB145, SPB147. Theses will apparently retail at local brick and mortar for between $1350 and 1500 (I’ve asked). Anyway, I’m just making people aware of them that may prefer to put the money towards one of these.

@The Almighty Dollar: Or both for true enthusiasts ;)

              • @moo: I'm glad I've got the divers bug out of my system with a seamaster and an orient triton…

                • @tonyjzx: Sounds like you need an Arnie now ;)

    • Who celebrates a 55th anniversary?

Very good watch for the money, sapphire glass and the 6r35 movement, love mine Very accurate +-2s a day and cops a beating at work.

    • bit on the big side though at 45mm

      • I have a few other dive watches and this does not seem large at all, especially against my other save the ocean turtle. Wears a lot smaller imo.

  • I agree mate.I like so many of these great watches but the 45mm.case thing is an issue. You never heard much about watches of this size a few years ago. It's more about a bloody "look at me" fashion thing IMHO.
