  • does it work with google home?

    • +1 for this question.

also the current ip cam i'm using has a flash applet in a web based interface when on PC, need something that has a decent interface, flash will be blocked soon enough.

      • It works with Alexa, Google and Siri. And you need to upgrade the edge, firefox, chrome, safari browser to the latest version to watch the videos on PC. Feel free to contact Blurams customer service via [email protected] if you have any question.

    • yes, it works with Alexa, Google Assistance and Apple Siri

      • When you mention Apple Siri, does it also work with Homekit?

Can I just confirm whether you require a subscription to use the device as described?

From the sounds of the last paragraph, it only keeps 24hrs which might be a pain if you can't check it everyday.

    • No, you may use SD-Card to use it and it has a 30-day trial cloud service for the new user

      • Thank you.. nice to know.

    • Without a subscription you don't get facial recognition, only records about 5-10 seconds around each motion detected.

      • So this means some of your data is sent to a random server somewhere to do "facial recognition"

        • I can't imagine the camera has the processing power on board to do that, so yes. It's like how the google assistant sends the recording to a server to be analyzed.

      • Without a subscription you don't get facial recognition, only records about 5-10 seconds around each motion detected.

In that case, you are much better of getting Google nest aware, as this product's subscription has the cost as per camera

    • You can use a micro SD, otherwise for the cloud yes you do, they're running a promo for lifetime sub for $100

  • Does it support RTSP streams?

    • NO

  • Does it supported by Synology NAS system?

    • No

good detective work… a Star for you, DanStar!

  • Does with work with Home Assistant? Can we tuya convert it?

All these P2P or App controlled cameras go through a third party server - usually china.
The subscriptions are often required to get any use from them more than 30 days.
Often they are vulnerable to snooping with a few url changes.
    Research well. YMMV

I actually grab 2 last time they went on sales and can't fault them.

Very easy to set up and works a treat.. you have to be log on the ap for notification thought. I was hoping they email you an alert but you get what you paid for I guess
