  • Anyone know if the RAM is upgradeable?

    • It is. 4gb is built in and the ram it comes with is a 4gb sodimm. I recently upgraded to 16gb from an ozbargain deal for $105 for a total of 20gb.

      • Perfect. I bought a HP back in Feb but it's very noisy so I might onsell and buy this instead.

        • Yeah I bought one on a whim as someone had it listed on gumtree for cheap. Works well even for light gaming gta v runs ok. Bit odd having 20gb ram but runs much better after the upgrade.

  • +2

I'd recommend this instead (only 1 in stock!) https://www.amazon.com.au/Lenovo-i7-10510U-14-Inch-Touchscre…

$1498, price match at officeworks for $1425. https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/lenovo-yog…

You lose the dGPU, but comes with more RAM, better built (metal vs plastic) and lighter (1.4kg vs 1.7kg)

    • The link says 1.81kg?

      • It's incorrect. Actually 1.37kg. I bought the i5 variant of this laptop recently

    • $1997 now

  • Its been marketed as: "..great for editing photos.."

Is the sceen good for photo editing?

    • can't find anything regarding sRGB coverage but I doubt it would be any good for professional work

    • It's pretty rubbish especially the viewing angles. It's not even an iOS display

      • Thanks. Looks like the hunt for a reasonably priced and photoshop specced laptop continues :D

  • There is a review - if it is the same model - it says the display covers 54% of sRGB Standard.

    • 58% according to notebookcheck. Probably different model too. Cant even find this model on lenovo au site
