Victa is 164 Wh where as ego is 280 Wh. Also this is the best battery power mower .. and i read a lot of issues with cutting sizes with victa.. so to me EGO is a better option
So the EGO has a greater battery capacity…. Great if you need extended runtime.
However the Victa almost definitely has more power (assuming the cells are pushing max current in both scenarios).
EGO deliberately hide their power output, but from extrapolating other 56V power claims against Victa's claims, the EGO is around 750W (1hp) versus Victa's 1200W (1.5hp)This is why you see user reports of EGO mowers getting choked on wet grass.

Not available for me at my local Stratco. However I do see that they have the 49cm mower + 4ah kit for $599. A few other mower places have this price, too

In NSW the lowest price I can find for any EGO mower with battery is $799. Anyone aware of any upcoming sale for these?

The Ozito corded mower is pretty good and a lot cheaper. You get used to how to mow with a cord.
You get used to it, put cordless is so much better. A no brainer if you can afford the extra. I wouldnt go back to corded
