      • I've dm'd and emailed you my order number. Are you following this up?

        • Last fiasco, they sent a generic response telling me to wait.

    Another bad experience here 🙋🏼‍♀️

  • Just ordered, but during check out the size changed?? Thought ordered mens 9 but summary says mens 7. Anyway to get this changed??

substandard product, very slippery and refund took more than 30 days and have to dispute it via Paypal.. Don't trust them and specially their made in Australia gimmick.

Could you send us a DM today so we can resolve this for you?

150 pairs left to sell and then this deal will be sold out.

I was one of the customers from their earlier deal prior to their non-delivery debacle. I had to chase them multiple times to get mine delivered. Poor communication and even poorer quality of ugg. Mine lasted only a couple of months before stitches coming off and fluff dropping out everywhere.

  • -6

Seeing that there are this many people with a negative experience. I would suggest a class action lawsuit. This should get them to get their act together and start shipping/communicating with their customers rather than fighting with them.

    • ridiculous comment and unnecessary, we are contacting anyone who had any issues from the comments today.

      • Confirming rep has contacted me to offer remedy. Will see how that unfolds.

      • Pity people have to come to this website to get a response as you do not answer your phones or respond to emails!

        • Yep, Rep has gone AWOL again and not replying PM or Emails. No surprises, poor service as expected.

    • +1

Lol and who are you suggesting start this up? I dont know if someone is going to invest that much time over $30 slippers.

Unless you are going to do it?

      • -2

Not me since I haven't brought anything thanks to the warnings. Just wanted to let people know that this is an option. I guess someone could start a public google drive folder and people can start submitting invoices, screenshots, chat logs and ACCC case numbers.

Poor guys copping a bit of flack here so thought I’d share my experience.

My order came within a week of ordering! The product is great as it is lightweight and nice and comfortable inside! At the time of ordering I asked my wife if she wanted one to which she said no however since mine came - she has been stealing mine whenever she can!

Great slip on to wear if you have tiles in your house! I’ve had a great experience - good on you guys for supporting ozbargainers!

End of the day everyone has different opinions and experiences but during a tough time like the present, always great to support aussie made products!

  • ordered this from last sale. ordered black colour but got navy blue. Apart from all good. comfy and warm enough.
may be bit slipery on wet surface so i wouldnt buy for old folks

  • I ordered from UggAustralia on the 30th of April. There was no confirmation email which made me worry a bit. However it arrived 22nd of May (Could have took a while because of AusPost delays).
    Been wearing them around since.

So since all the noise today, I got a pm from the company to send a free and complimentary pair to me. Wtf? How can this be referred to as being free and complimentary when I paid $29.90 back in April?

I’m not even going to bother replying to the pm, will be waiting until PayPal make the final call and if it’s not in my favor I’ll proceed other avenues then. I’ve already submitted a report to Consumer Affair VIC but they are flat out with more pressing matters and unfortunately may not even get a response!

    Anyway, that aside…

Does seem that they have finally realised, even though won’t admit, this negativity isn’t doing them any good so are trying to enact damage control. Or if I’m being unbiased, trying to rebuild their brand and improve customer service, albeit has taken to this point to try start repairing the damage.

Hopefully they have also reached out to others that have had nothing but issues for remediation and you get your issue resolved! Good luck!

  • Would like to echo what has been said here multiple times - wouldn't bother buying from these guys.

I sent 2 emails within 2 business days after an order because I wanted to modify my order. They just shipped it 3 business days later without replying. Call center was not reachable either.

Got an email about 10 days later saying that I could file an exchange form. Very useful, because everything was out of stock and now I am stuck with an extra pair.

Even with COVID19 delays it is ridiculous to expect a 1 week+ delay in emails for a simple request. Customer service seems to be unable to cope with the sales.

Buy from somewhere else. Somewhere that'll provide a box so the shoes don't come squashed and wrapped in a plastic bag.

Same experience as bbui87 no order confirmation but received order within a couple of weeks happy with quality so no complaints

  • I bought some three months ago and they wore to the soles after 2 months. Also, they were so big - not the size advertised at all. So big that I've been falling over and having accidents in them. I really hurt my arm after a fall in them about a month ago which is why I bought replacements..

However I've decided not to return them for a refund because I want to support local business

  • Happy with my purchase. Very comfy for my WFH situation!

  • they sent cheaper alternatives to whats advertised. avoid at all costs absolute terrible company to deal with. save your self the weeks of headache and look elsewhere

  • No problem with mine from the last deal…

  • wool wears away off within some months, waste of money

Ah… Isn't the Internet simply swell? For the right or wrong reason, everyone is dying to be heard now on a wider scale. Lol

I don't know whether to thank or curse the people around here since I was initially thinking of ordering 2 pairs for me and for the Mrs and am not now since the hostility towards this company are so vivid and real that it actually frightened me for even entertaining the thought of dealing with them.

For all I know, I may have missed out on a good deal or you guys may have just saved me from a lifetime of misery and regret.

    • Yep I feel your misery!

      It's a case of a catch 22.

Unfortunately this company put itself into this situation. Businesses will always get good and bad reviews, on whatever scale!

It's all about how they approach to remediate when sht goes wrong.

This company is a nightmare, and their (or the rep on OzBargain's) attitude doesn't help them one bit, and in my eyes it's too late, damage is already done.

  • Just made my 3rd order from these guys over the past 2 years. Keep buying these for family and extended family, this would be the 8th pair. Haven't had an issue with postage, taking a couple weeks, and very happy with the quality of the products for $30. I don't know how much more you can expect for $30 shipped. I'd probably pay up to $50 instore for these but $70 is a stretch.

I did notice that they changed the sole/grip material on the base from last years, on my last order I received both types of rubber soles. Both felt as grippy on polished floor boards after reading some people thought they were slippery, though i haven't tried them in the wet.

  • we are going to allow 50 more pairs and then this deal is done. Thanks again OZB.
Also all people with previous issues that DM us will be sorted out today on top.
    Cheers again guys.

  • Got mine from the deal late April.

Purchase to receipt of slippers was 2 weeks (so not bad) but had further issues which took a total of 2 months to resolve and definitely a fair lack of comms.
I wear them with socks and they are doing well. Still fluffy and warm.

If you don't mind getting them late then I think it's worth the 30 bucks.

I can't comment on the negative reviews/comments… but quite honestly I had the exact opposite experience with this vendor.

I ordered these slippers on a previous deal for $30 delivered, and I haven't had an issue- either in delivery time or quality of product.
    They are still going strong.

I have no reason to suspect anyone is being unfair in their neg votes, but I do hope there aren't people casting negs here just to 'pile on' because others have had a bad experience.

Fair enough if you've had a legitimately bad experience, but for anyone considering purchasing don't let that be your only guide.
$30 delivered for Australian made slippers is very good value…. and good in the respect that our money stays here in Australia.

Don't be too quick to smash an Australian manufacturer. There's always two sides, and I'd be confident in buying again from these guys. And I'm no sockpuppet btw!

    • Same…

      • I bought three pairs in one of the original deals. One pair began to fall apart. We've been back and forth with "will get you a new pair" for a couple of months and i gave up.
        Luck of the draw…

I ordered a pair of Opal scuffs in June last year. No issue with the delivery. However, after a couple days of wearing them the seam of the edging (not sure how to call it) started falling apart at the base. I contacted UGG and they organised a replacement. The same issue happened with the replacement pair after a week or so. In fairness I didn't contact them again as I concluded it was a design fault and it would happen again with a new pair. The issue is only cosmetic, they are still wearable and very confy. I was just disappointed as I thought I was buying a quality product. Would maybe try a different model next time.

  • Email sent last week and no reply. DM sent with order number.. let's see what happens.

  • +1

Don't recommend. Wrong sizes shipped to me. Sent back at their expense. Wrong size Sent To me again and 1 Pair completely missing . Refuse to answer emails. PayPal dispute for over a month. PayPal dispute awarded to me. Not worth the hassle plus the soles were horribly stiff and slippery. Save $30 and spend elsewhere.

  • The worst customer service I've ever encountered. Shipped a pair back for a size exchange back in April, it's still ongoing. Have yet to receive a direct response of any sort.

  • +1

Received mine today. Good fit, nice and warm compared to my 3M Thinsulate Kmart ones. A bit worried now around how the wool will hold (based on some of the negative comments in here). Will post again in a week or 2.

    • -1

My experience with 2 pairs (myself and wife's) of these, stitching will come off in less than 2 months and wool fluff will be everywhere.

    • I must say I absolutely love mine. Have been wearing them at home every day for the past 2 weeks (WFH so 12h/day easily). They're not that cushioned around the heel area but they're really snug and fluffy around the foot. No signs of wear or wool fluff. Not downplaying anyone's negative experience but I'm truly happy with mine as they keep my (big) feet much warmer than anything I've ever had before.
