added to order, applied code, and saw your comment.
      Thank you

      • +10

You and your company yet continue to have delusions of grandeur.

I ain't trolling here… Just giving a word of warning to fellow OzBargain members.

Keen to wait for the other members that have/are in the current position as myself drop in their feedback too!

          • +11

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: He clearly isn't trolling, and your immature response reflects why people are so fed up with the your business as a whole. You guys f'ed up so accept it and move on.

            • @Baebs: But Aus post lost his parcel? we always send new pairs for this??

              • @UGGAustraliaOfficial: No you don't. I have been waiting for 2 months (YES 2 MONTHS) to get a proper response from this piece of work Anthony but I've yet to get any response. I'm just going through with Consumer Affairs. This guy shouldn't be running any sort of business

          • +1

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: Very mature UGG Australia! If this is the approach you have with online comments I can see why your customer service is so bad!

Are you inviting people because we have to make our own slippers?

        • +9

          I stand with AnDyStYLe.
I had a lousy experience witb you guys.
Product received was poor. I've spoken of it before.
Just accept customer opinion, I didn't even hassle you with it as I thought 'oh they are falling to pieces in days, who is even going to accept that. Oh well, fool me once etc' then I moved on. Point is. AnDyStYLe likely has very legitimate issues.

        • +2

It's a hit and miss for me. The fur rugs were good, but the slippers I ordered back in April is still not here yet, their customer service is horrible at responding.

      • +1

Andys comments are true. You are the one trolling with this fake offer. People be warned that UGG Australia still has not shipped goods from the last "Sale" they had. They do not respond to the emails on the website and they do not take phone calls so you have no way of contacting them.
I have had to start a refund claim via PayPal due to not getting the product after over 2 months of waiting. UGG did provide shipping details but after not getting the item I contacted Australia post who confirmed that UGG never gave them anything to ship and had only created a request to ship the item.

    • +4

Thanks for the heads up AnDyStYLe.

    • +5

Thanks. Just saved $30.00 from something I might never get.

    • +2

      Agree these guys suck

  • +15

Ordered 30th April when similar deal posted, tracking number received 4th May. Still not received, Australia Post either never had them or can't find them so have declared them lost in transit. Ugg Australia won't give a refund, Paypal dispute still pending. Will never buy from this company again.

      • +6

There have been numerous emails between us already with no resolution and you've already been made aware that the parcel was deemed lost in transit by Australia Post many weeks ago and that a refund has been requested so let's just leave it there and hope that Paypal claim is settled soon. You've had my money since 30th April and I'd like it back.

    • How many parcels of this guy does Australia Post? I'm an employee for Aus post and I know parcels are sometimes lost, but this many seems unbelievable. If you scroll through the comments you'll see theres too many people for it to be a coincidence..

I strongly suggest people share their tracking details because I think something dodgy is going on.

  • +8

Sorry OP, as interested as I am, I won't be purchasing. Maybe fix the unresolved issues first before advertising more so you don't get such a storm in your comment section

  • +4

I have ordered twice from the past deals (2 pairs each time) and have always received my package.
Comfortable, warm and most importantly, a great price.

  • +8

Was going to purchase a pair then read comments. Sounds like Melbourne Seafood Market.

      • +1

Lie. 20 negs on the one deal I looked at.

        • -2

          Oddly appropriate.. 3 negs and 17 sheep…

        • +2

Should have been 21, unfortunately I had gave them a + initially and could then only revoke 😡

For anyone that's interested or cares to read more into this, and for transparency, I actually backed this company at the start! See my comments… But their service and lack of trying to smooth things over and on top of their arrogance, that was the icing on the cake! This isn't including all the bs they were giving other customers within the same thread.

Clearly in my use case scenario, it shows how quickly a business reputation can diminish at a blink of an eye to 'one' customer. But proof is in the pudding, it's not just 'one' customer.

  • +3

Ordered from one of the last deals and was flawless - shipped super quick and have been wearing these around the house for the past 2 months - pretty much what i would expect for $30 ugg slippers.

Looks like a few others have had issues in the past but i cant say i had any problems.

  • +2

Bad reviews aside, I didn't realise UGG wasn't Australian.

    • we are 100% Australian owned and made

      • You're not owned by Decker Brands?

        • no we went to court against them in 2005

        • I think from memory there is UGG (the big popular one) and then these guys - UGG Australia. The original UGG was bought out and is American based now.

        • +3

Might be a clone company seeing that this is the real official Australian UGG website https://au.ugg.com/
Also there are some previous comments posted from others complaining about the quality so watch out.

            • -1

@mw13: Says the ^&**(@$ buying up every bargain possible then reselling them at a huge profit to you.

          • +3

@No Username: That looks like its American. No ABN at the bottom and on the main page it states -

"Founded in 1978 on the coast of California by an Australian surfer, UGG is a global lifestyle brand renowned for its iconic classic boots."

I'm pretty sure this is the popular one most people are aware of, 90% sure its not Australian though.

          • @No Username: These ones that you linked are over $80.

            • @loropy9: Because they are the real thing. You wouldn't pay full price for an iPhone clone would you? The point of clones are so they are cheap. This is why there are $10 LV bags floating around on wish.

          • -1

@No Username: The About Us page in that link is a long history of UGG something, but the current "owners" don't actually say what, nor what the current business' link to that history is. They don't appear to suggest that they're an Au company, nor do they state where their products are designed and made, or where their materials are sourced.

UGG Australia needs to lift it's customer service markedly and deserves far better public interaction than provided by this UggAustraliaOfficial, but at least Ugg Australia is transparently Australian.

  • +1

Bought from them before, waited about 40 days to receive my Slippers. It's comfy but the durability might be a concern as the fluff tends to wear out after 2 months of occasional use.

I'd say it's a good product but I'd buy it again around $20, I suppose the markup is because it's more expensive to produce in Australia?

  • +1

happy with mine from the last deal

  • Since the COVID-19 started, I have found deliveries to be very unreliable. I have had a number of orders from different sources including eBay and Amazon either never get delivered or arrive very very late. Amazon are great and will always refund you. eBay, all depends on the seller, but I will only buy from stores that accept Paypal as I always get a refund via Paypal when the deliveries don't show up. These guys accept Paypal, so you won't lose your money at least.

    • +4

That's not always true regarding "accept Paypal, so you won't lose your money at least". I actually had the same thought process as you, and I in fact had two previous good experiences with this company, but then more recent times I started to notice many others having really bad experiences, but I thought I'd take the gamble and if things turned pear shaped I'd simply submit a PayPal case.

My PayPal case is still pending review and expected close date is mid July. I made my order end of April, so you can already see the length of time needing to deal with the headache of getting my money back!

What's worse, the company had simply just copy and pasted the tracking number into their response, which buys them more time. I had already provided this tracking number in my original submission, and mentioned the issue behind it, being - "Shipping information approved by Australia Post - Date & time Mon 4 May 10:07am" and no progress beyond this.

So basically, there's no guarantee who PayPal will side with… Not worth the headache taking the risk!

I'm just trying to warn others not to have to go through the same headache, but end of the day… It's the individual's call on what they want to do!

      • -7

What that means Andy is Aus post is the one at fault, not us!!
we would of sent you a new pair but instead you abuse and troll us.

        • +10

Just so others that aren't aware and may get caught out…

"Shipping information approved by Australia Post…"

DOES NOT mean it's with Australia Post. It simply means the company has initiated and triggered for the package to proceed the logistical part of the process.

At this point, it's a case that the product hasn't been passed across to Australia Post. When it does, it should trigger the next tracking update/info.

Don't buy into the "it's Australia Post's fault".

Furthermore, if you were to read up on the ACCC, issues with postage needs to be dealt with by the seller in any case.

I don't want another pair sent out, I simply want money back for something I paid for any never received or will receive.

          • @AnDyStYLe: guess you haven't bought from Adidas AU recently? orders not delivered since March ;)

            • +1

@ohtaek: Actually I did and I received all 4 of the orders within a reasonable time frame…

              Here, have a read

              ;)

              • @AnDyStYLe: and that's my point ;)

everyone is going to have a different experience, but what is the common issue here? the middleman ie delivery

                • +1

@ohtaek: I was actually editing what I wrote above, but you since replied so I couldn't.

This was the edit…I guess I should extend further on that… If I did also have issues with Adidas, I'd treat it the same as what I've done in this scenario. I would encourage you to go through the avenues of PayPal and ACCC if you haven't already, and also encourage you to voice your feedback to others about your experience so it'll help them make an informed decision whether or not to do business with them.

Since your reply, it's obvious you don't know the ins and outs of my experience as well as the many others in the same predicament. It is NOT the middleman ie delivery.

I'll summarise it for you, and others that may have also missed "my point"…

                  • This company DID NOT have actual stock but willingly took orders
                  • This company then proceeded to initiate shipping with Australia Post, but DID NOT hand over the product
                  • The shipping remains on the status of "Shipping information approved by Australia Post - Date & time #####"
                  • This company will not return the money I've paid and wants to battle it out via PayPal until the very end date it seems

Just for reference and comparison sake, I dealt with another Australian business last month when they oversold on an item… I waited for about 1 month before proceeding with any follow up action. I also in fact received a shipment notification from Fastway the next day of ordering, but still waited that 1 month as I knew Fastway isn't the best and fastest. As soon as I lodged a PayPal case for return of money for products not received, the business straight away refunded, explained the situation around the shipment notification being accidentally triggered due to automation, and closed the case. In essence, they acknowledged they didn't have the product to supply in a reasonable time frame and willingly returned my money without fuss!

          • @AnDyStYLe: sorry Andy that might be your procedure with your headphones but not ours. We only print a label once a pair is ready to go into a shoot that delivers to a pick up point for Aus post.
Aus post don't scan our pick ups bc of the large volume of parcels each day.
Aus post lost your parcel, we are more than happy to replace/refund anyone's parcels that are lost anytime.

        • +1

Shipping information recieved means you've created a tracking number, and lodged a digital manifest with Australia Post, does not mean you've sent a thing. Approved just means your account has been charged and a label created. Don't lie

        • +1

Then how about you answer your phones and respond to emails?

Seems to have an extremely high amount of "lost" packages as well. What % of parcels do Australia post loose from you?

          • @[Deactivated]: I have the same stinking suspicion. I work for Auspost and I know stuff is lost at times, but not this often, even during the COVID19 situation. Did they provide you with any sort of tracking number? I would love to compare with others with my tracking number: WTU501570601000930308

      • +2

I've had exactly the same experience as you. Ordered 30th April, received same shipping information, same date and time. After a few weeks started an Australia Post investigation and they responded that they had no record of the parcel therefore it was deemed lost in transit. Paypal claim started, review time keeps getting extended and is now early July but each time I look it has changed to a later date. Asked Ugg Australia to just refund my money to put an end to the Paypal claim but they say they aren't allowed to refund while a dispute is going on which I find hard to believe. Who knows if I'll ever see that $29.95 again but not planning to let the matter drop until I take it as far as I can. Definitely don't want their product now and would never deal with this company again.

  • +3

For all the haters, i've made two orders from these guys and they were both shipped and delivered promptly and no issues with the uggs themselves. I think there might been something about the brand tag last order said one thing but the ad said another, to be frank, I really don't care. I paid $60? odd for a pair of uggs, fit and build is more important to me than a brand on a boot, it's not like we're buying Versace uggs where you're literally paying for the brand so it's important. They fit well, the wool is still dense on the pair I got last winter.

    • have you even purchased from us?

        • can I have your order number please?

  • +2

I ordered during the 6,000 pairs promotion back in March and yes the delivery was slow (received at just under 4 weeks) but it appears OP has learned from the experience and has placed limits now so this doesn't happen again.

I wear these with socks on and it is very comfy. The quality is excellent and I will order again (at the half price promotions of course) when these are worn out.

Another thing to note is the size (for me at least) is smaller than normal so I would order one size larger. The exchange process was very smooth as they send you a prepaid Austpost label and a returns form so I had my correctly sized pair within 2 weeks.

    • Was about to suggest people buy a size smaller as I've found the leather stretches :)

Have to say I ordered two pairs about 6 weeks ago and received both in reasonable time. The quality is fine and for the price I'm finding they're a perfect work from home, round the house footwear.

  • +1

I got mine from a deal about a year ago and whilst i can't remember now exactly how long it took to ship i don't recall it taking any longer than it should've. maybe 10-15 business days or something.

thought i'd add my experience seeing it's the contentious topic here.

    • +1

Yes, same here. Reading the comments on previous deals, I can understand the frustration. My two cents: I bought my pair from an ozbargain deal about 2-3 months ago and I recall both my orders arriving within a week or two of purchase. I have already started wearing my pair and they're really comfy and warm.

    • i did that order too, and got it like a week later. Had no issues and have worn the shit out of them during covid lol

  • IGNORE ME I AM SILLY The price for the mens scuffs stays at $70. Have I missed something here?

    • think you have to pop in the promo code - EOFY

  • I did receive mine in 2 weeks after chasing.
Sole is very hard, very uncomfortable to walk around with.
Fluffs are loose, it'll wear out very quick.
But for $30? Maybe good for some people.
    RRP $70 no way.
And you'd wish it looked as comfy as the pictures.
I put it in the donation bin the same day I received it and went back to my old ragged KMART slippers.
We do have other UGG boots brought else where.

    • I had similar experience but longer delay in shipping. Soles are black and hard - nothing like the pictures. Wouldn't buy again.

  • +5

Hi guys we have sold over 100 pairs and will probably have to stop this deal by lunch time, to ensure delivery this week.

    • +1

Thanks op I just ordered a pair hopefully deliveryis fast as I need them.
I'm putting my faith in you

  • +1

Hey OP, sorry but I'm very unhappy with the pairs I bought from the previous deal. They are unworn. Could I get a refund?

    • +1

please DM your issues with your pair and I will see what I can do

    • +1

I am curious why you are unhappy? Could you provide photos or evidence of any issues?

  • Hello @UggAustraliaOfficial What happens if the size when arrives is incorrect?

    • we do free exchange, we recommend using USA size or one size up

      • Thank You!

      • I have ordered 2 pair one for me and one for my wife hope the size fits correct!

  • Anything similar for Kids (~13/1)?

My son is jealous of the pair I bought from you last sale but I’m not willing to spend $90 on a pair of Ugg boots that he will grow out of in 6months. (ESP when mine were $30)

    • if you buy womans size 5, this is a mens size 3 and will be pretty close.
      sorry I hope that helps

      • That’s what I did for my 10 year old son except I got a women’s size 6 for him so he has room to grow (and they last longer than a year).

  • +3

200 pairs now sold, we are only going to sell about another 300 to ensure shipping times

  • +1

Really happy with my previous purchase, keeping my feet warm!

  • +4

Joined today just to comment as I had the worst online shopping experience with this store. I Purchased items in April and attempted to contact after 4 weeks without items being shipped. No response. Then saw another sale for same items and read orders for this sale had been shipped although my, as were others, order of the same items from over a month ago had not. Contacted again and finally received a very brief response (no apologies) that they would be shipped the following week. Waited over a week and still nothing. Contacted again and was then told they are sold out and are no longer being produced and will refund within 7 days. No offer to make amends (such as we can offer alternative or upgrade or discount voucher on next purchase)for such a major stuff up. I was outraged, extremely poor service from an Australian Company which I would like to support but not when there are obviously significant systemic and service culture issues. Order at your own risk.

    • what item did you buy?

      • I purchased 3 pairs of Men's mini uggs on 23rd April

  • +1

I’ve purchased at least 5 pairs now on different occasions for myself and as gifts. Never had any issues or poor delivery. I’ve also recommended to friends and family and they too like the product/delivery process!

I think like with any online retailer. The 10,000 who have great experiences will remain quiet. The 1 person who does have a bad experience will kick and shout as though they are representing 10,000 people!

    • thanks so much for your support and comment, you are right but OZB continues to be a great support for us. We have had close to 300 orders from this deal, we love the OZB community. Please DM I would like to give you a voucher for your great support.

    • I purchased from them previously with no issue. It's not that there was an issue, things
can go wrong, it's how they deal with the issue that is aggravating people. It's the poor customer service and ignorance that is the problem here, not that a product hasn't arrived. That being said it's probably more like 1000 out of 10,000 that have issues reading all the complaints here and in other forums.

  • +2

I ordered one from last sale and it didn’t arrive. I sent email to the customer service and no response. Now disputing my payment with PayPal. Do not buy from them

    • Australia post lost about 100 parcels out of 6000 on the 4th of May. if you DM me I will ensure you are looked after.

  • +1

    PLEASE AVOID.
Still waiting on my order from the 4th of May as several others seem to be as well.
    Very miserable experience so far.

    • please read above

      • I've already sent you a dm as well as emails.
If that's what you are referring to?

      • +1

oh, referring to the 100 packages out of 6000 "lost" by AusPost?

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/534426
If you refer to the original deal, you'll find this pretty much at the top.

"Last time we posted a deal like this we sold 6,000 pairs, we are only allowing 500 pairs this time around to speed up delivery."

So something isn't adding up straight off the bat. Also the fact that you seem aware to the fact that a significant amt of orders went undelivered yet, the only way I'm finding this out is in an Ozbargain threaad?

Also, I'm not entirely sure who you're classifying as "Andys" but by my count, you're well past the 3 in this thread alone

"sorry to hear Anarky, from about 20,000 OZB customers we only have about 3 Andys lol."

  • +2

I feel obliged to provide my experience as well given the many mixed reviews. I purchased two pairs during the Mothers Day promotion last month, both of which arrived promptly (within 1-2 weeks) and as described. Both my partner and mum absolutely love them and wear them every day. During the first week or so, some of the fluff came off, not a major issue, with it not affecting the overall thickness of the wool interior. So far, they have remained durable, but it is still early days. They fit well, generally conforming to the size of other shoe manufacturers (i.e. a US size 6 for mum, who usually wears US size 6, fits well). They're not too heavy or slippery, although the floors we have are tiles that are fairly grippy and wooden floorboards. They look decent, but I agree the UGG tag needs a makeover (subtle green and gold would be nice). Overall a good purchase, which I think for $30 is worth it (I'd probably pay up to $40), but not at $70.

I am grateful we have an OzBargain community who looks after the interests of its members. I thought long and hard before making the purchase, based on our community's comments and given previous poor experiences of some members. Ultimately, I figured $30 (each) is a gamble I was willing to take, and it was worth in the end.

This Winter, I am more trying to use less heating, for a multitude of reasons (trying to live 'less comfortably' and not be so precious about being a little cold at home, trying to reduce my carbon footprint and also reduce utility bills), but my feet are suffering as a result. Therefore, I have put in an order of a pair for myself; hopefully they arrive as they did for my partner and mum!

  • +6

Looks like you may have to improve/beef up your customer service team a bit OP because even if you have the best intentions, a percentage of orders always go wrong (missing orders, late delivery, packaging issues, incorrect sizing/colour etc) and your customer facing team is then in the best position to make things right (I have some online retail experience myself). Just calling your customers trolls (and yes, some can be) never works in your favour. Have ordered a pair myself and will report back my findings here, good or bad.

  • -1

@UggAustraliaOfficial If this is not the original Australian UGG then we would like to cancel the order and get full refund back to our card please.
    How do we do this

  • Another comment on the last deal - I purchased based on their representations "we'll only sell what we have in stock". The shipping notification occurred about 2 days after purchase, and the UGGs were delivered about 4 business days later.

Very happy with the sizing (remember these are US not UK sizes) and quality.

  • Hi OP, thanks for posting the deal the other day on the rugs, both me and my mrs like it very much.
We received it within the pretty good time frame, less than a week.

Although i do not know whether your other product are good or not, as i have never been to the store to check it out, but i must say the rug i purchased from you if very good.

Do you have any deal on the boot to wear inside the house at the moment? my mrs is looking for one. Thanks

Ordered under their last deal, been over 2 months and still have not delivered my order. They claim Auspost delays, but it doesn't take take 2 months to deliver to Perth from Vic. Terrible customer service as well.

    • Hi, could you DM us your order number and we will follow it up for you?
