Big fan of the brisket patty and for $5 go for it, but I don't think including aged cheddar + dill pickles was a good choice. Both flavours too strong.
Though I haven't tried this burger, i had a BBQ brisket burger yesterday which had both
Sounded good in theory, but for me it didn't quite work. Just felt like a soft greasy mess rather than the juiciness you want from a meat patty.
It certainly is no longer a 'secret', if it is on news sites; more likely a marketing campaign
yeah although news are ads and bargain hunters nowadays r at least try to be. Take 7 news for example, I am just watching 1h ads every day with a drizzle of news and a slab of sport that i couldn't give 2 shitts about

Certainly not the finest. 'Brisket' is really just a patty. It's pretty bland and commercial. Lots of pickles which is nice. Not bad for $5 if you pickup, but not worth paying delivery for.
What did you expect exactly?
All (good) brisket burgers are basically minced chuck and brisket
Ah, I now realise I had been thinking of a pulled-style meat, which is obviously completely incorrect.
Either way, the brisket patty was nothing to write home about.

I reckon about 5 out of 10, lacked freshness, so added some red onion and lettuce i had in the fridge and that was better.

The shopback link doesn't seem to be correct as they list Deliveroo as 'temporarily unavailable' i.e no shopback/discounts etc
Below average burger - added BBQ sauce myself to jazz it up as the taste was very bland. Fine for a cheap lunch but would be pissed if I paid $17 for that.

Agreed that it could do with some extra BBQ sauce or something, but pretty decent for a fiver.
$15.49 for two delivered isn't bad for what this is. Wouldn't pay a normal Grill'd price for it. (Does any Ozbargainer pay full price for Grill'd?)
I agree with earlier comment(s) that the cheese and pickles are "too" flavoursome for the rather boring brisket patty. To the commenter adding sauce, ours were plenty moist. If you separate the patty from the burger it is a bit bland and unappealing.

Anyone after a good burger in Perth, hit up Juicy Buns Burgers in Shelley, they are also in the entertainment book. Top notch for taste.
