Good! We should get another daily deal on Darksiders then…

Good stuff, but that Metro game was just awful.

  • Sweet, hoping for decent SR2 and Homefront deals. Yeah I know Homefront is meant to be pretty crap, but I wanted to play it before release and if it can get to like 5 (possibly 10) bucks that wouldn't be too bad.

EDIT: So uhh, not sure about the daily deals. Above the Metro link it says 'until October 17th' suggesting it's just another THQ deal that's available this week. Not sure though :S

    • I wouldn't go above 5, but that's just my opinion :P

      • Yeah, really not willing to spend heaps on it. But seeing that the 'normal' price on it is 50 and it's on sale for 33 at the moment, maybe 5 is a little too optimistic :/

        Will come down eventually though.

It's $20 if you have the facility to buy through a US IP address (US VPN)

    • "suggesting it's just another THQ deal that's available this week. Not sure though :S"

That is true because Metro 2033 is Today's deal. Another game will pop up tomorrow morning.

just purchased metro 2033 ! woot

  • Anyone got any good price on bfII?

    No Space Marine? :(

  • Just bagged Metro, thanks OP!

  • I'm drooling over the pack - works out to just over $3.33/game, and I've been thinking about buying several of them. May be cheaper by the end of the week, though.

  • If SR3 was on sale, I'd totally pre-order the shit out of it…

And for those considering the pack, be careful.
Because once you buy a publishers pack, that's it.
If they add more games (and they most likely will), the pack won't be cheap anymore.

  • Old games with a crappy 33% off.

    Been cheaper many times before.

  • In the spirit of the site, further savings can be made by buying metro 2033 in euro's as the game is 2.50 EUR which is currently 3.42 AUD.

  • So we can only get Titan Quest in German, due to there being no other translation for the low level violence version? Anyone know if they way to get LFD2 from the US store would also work here?

    • ..Pretty sure my Titan Quest isn't in German lol.
And you can get the uncensored version of L4D2 if you get someone in America to gift it to you. Alternatively you can buy it yourself through proxies but this is a bit risky.

      • Steam begs to differ:

        Buy Titan Quest Gold
German language only available in Germany. German low violence version only available with German language.

        • German language only available in Germany

That makes it sound like you can only get the German language in Germany - I know I got Titan Quest Gold at Xmas when it was on sale, and mines in English

        • Ah I see.

You've gotten yourself confused with the low violence censors.
They've only censored L4D2 for Australia, most other games are fine. (Except Mark Ecko but that was a piece of crap anyway)
So you won't get the 'low violence' version for Titan Quest.

Unless I've misinterpreted your question and you WANT it in German with the low violence censor?
In that case, you'd have to find yourself a German friend to gift it to you.
I'm not sure how it has been censored though, it's all about killing shit.

  • Ah, my bad, I assumed it was displaying this as it was somehow relevant. Obviously not
