  • Price Matches are not Bargains

    • spoony speaks the truth!

    • If you use it to get a bargain though?

      • NO Price Matched or In-store negotiated deals.

It's one of the Posting Rules

        • Hmmm you've got me there Sir Spoon lord of the Ozbargain 😅
I'll tell you what, it's a still a good deal from Appliances Central which is mentioned in the title. If one of these smart bargain hunters use it to get themselves a deal or dare I say a bargain at JBHIFI with a price Match then I'll be happy because they are happy.
Have a great weekend mate! Peace😘

          • @CJBris: Not disputing whether it's a deal or not, for the purpose of OzBargain, Price Matches are not permitted.

  • The original deal which you price matched is the actual deal here, just that you got JB Hifi to match it.

The 85Q8 for $3,850 is also a good deal,
    everywhere else is $4245

One thing to factor in with these large TVs is delivery cost, eBay Plus will give you free delivery

  • sure provide receipt, incase anyone actually wants to get it?

  • Is there any good reviews on this tv?
    I can’t find it on rtings.com.

    • -1

Rtings.com is USA. This model in the USA is called H8G if i am correct.

      • -2

        isn't it H9G?

just US has android TV, and we get VIDAA

        • -1

I thought so to begin with. But h9g has 480 motion rate while this only has 200. If this match h9g then q8 should have 400 motion rate. Also yes it’s definitely not h8g as h8g only has peak brightness of 700nits

          • @sparklehose: seems like there are a few differences between the Q8 & H9G but both are top models besides upcoming XD uled

My brother is after this model, I think it sells for high 3k at the moment. Is this top of the line, or anything comparable?

At that price I rather get a 65 inch Oled tbh.

What a success. I have tried several times to get JB price match official ebay stores and each time got rejected.
I would had used JB gift cards avaiable through RACQ and other platforms to get further 4-5% discount.

If you go to buy it ill send you the receipt maybe that will help😁

      • Yes Is it alright to get a copy of the receipt? Thanks in advance

        • Hey mate! Just sent you a private message!👌

  • Purchased a 55 inch set arriving today due to small living room. I feel buying this tv can be a bit risky in the sense that no one has done Video review For this exact model. Where are the oz youtubers?

Plenty of happy customers in the whirlpool hisense 2020 tv thread

      https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/thread/9kv6zlz3?p=42

      • thanks, yes I looked over every single piece of comment before I placed the order haha. My emphasis wsa lack of "video" review, like the ones uploaded to youtube done by rtings and hdtvtest.. I'm using H9G reviews as a reference to make my purchase decision.

  • so the 65 inch is $1790? also to clear up confusion, this is the h9g in usa with some slight differences, this has a better speaker, and i think some other minor things, both dont have 2.1 hdmi, which i dont think its that important tbh at this point in time. also both got 1000nits and about 140 something dimming zones.
