Availability:Online Only, its the usual issue i have with their pricing, though $236.05 shipped might be a good price for some.

          /edit nm you got it.

I phoned them and I was wrong, you have to get it delivered as they don't have stock at Chermside. It seems like $15.95 - $19.95 shipping.

    • That's a good price, was a massive effort getting a RM750 ($217).
Pre covid lot cheaper, should have just used my old 600W modular from 8y ago, bit of an overkill and all those modular cables just sit around in the boxes

      • Is an RM PSU better than an RMX?

        • +1

other way around. RMX is better than RM. RM is still very good though. RMX is just top tier.

          • @ONEMariachi: I thought RMxxxX was the premium one but an older model now?
Both awesome and better than you need really

            • @G-rig: RMX is 2018, RM is 2019. But yeah RMX is better. Howwever both are good PSU's.

              • @ONEMariachi: Cool, waited a while to get one for a recent build.
My 9 yo SilverStone ST60F-P 600W PSU 80+ still going good, should have just used that as i mentioned don't know what use the old pc is now, has it's issues but seems a bit good to bin it.

My how prices have risen. It not long ago back in late Feb the RM-850x was around $200 when I was looking to get a replacement PSU for my PC. Which I ultimately ended up getting as a warranty replacement at the time for an old Corsair HX650.

    • But yours was RM? Not RMX right?

      • Definitely the RM850x v2. Same as the one in this deal. Not the cheaper RM850

        RM850x v1 - 2015
        RM850x v2 - 2018

    • True that, my Oct/Nov build would cost about $800 more now

  • The RM750X tends to be better value ($135 all-time low last year, I think?), but it's a terrible time to buy PSUs right now: they became too expensive to air freight so supply was stifled.

Supply should be starting to normalise for popular items, so don't buy unless you have to. This is $50 over what it should be during a sale.

  • I had this power supply in my PC up until the other night, power supply failed due to capacitor blowing only 18 months old.

That 10 year warranty should come in handy then! Even seasonic have been having issues lately with their platinum PSUs.
