He might be replenishing his energies :P

      • Last I heard he was roaming Australia in search of a sizzling sausage.

        • I heard he was off to some country club for some cheap fish and chips (and was seen wearing his lawn bowls outfit)

  • Is the price inclusive of shipping charges (to Adelaide)?
Also do you have stock available and what are the expected delivery times.
has anyone bought from this store - as it has storefronts in melbourne, Sydney etc.

Having previously owned a furniture business and imported for China I seriously doubt the leather used is genuine Italian leather. When a combination of leather and vinyl (or pleather lol.) is used, the stuff that your body is generally in contact with (top of arm rests and top part of cushions) is leather and the remaining stuff is the vinyl. This means approximately 35% of the surface area of this lounge is probably leather and this equates to about 7 square metres as a typical 3 seater chaise requires approximately 20 square metres of leather. Now, genuine Italian leather wholesales for around $77 square metre which means the cost of leather here is $539 (GST inclusive). This means that for the remaining $100, this company is able to pay for the frame, foam, springs, pleather, etc… and shipping from China to Australia. Shipping alone is approximatly $150 per cubic metre and this would be approximately 2 - 2.5 cubes. So if that's the case then AntMan76 could be right by saying that only the label is leather lol.

  • I am actually in store for a new set of lounge but would never buy this

  • not a bargain
