    I've posted this quick reference guide to using Woolies eGift cards at Fully Woolworths-owned Caltex a while back Here in 2017 and Here in 2019
    You can refer to those posts/responses for more info, post below or PM me with any questions you may have.

    In a nutshell, go to a Non-Starmart Woolworths Caltex with Woolworths 8C Signage offer
    (4c offer ($30 Supermarket spend) + 4c from in store spend are 100% Woolworths owned caltex)

    At today's rates of petrol prices, using a 4c voucher + 5.5% off WW eGift cards, this is an effective ~10c off fuel at the Woolworths Caltex petrol network

          Thanks. I realise my reply blocked you, sorry. MyerOne were actually pretty good to acknowledge that I was using it as a points source and sent an email to notify well and truly before it was removed.

          EDIT: I actually think most Caltex/Ampol owned ones are doing WW points (but you can’t use discount vouchers there), only been this year though.

        I don’t think the poster is suggesting to buy anything to get the 8c deal. Just that where you see signage referring to 8c off deals you’ll be able to use your e-gift card in that servo.

      Update: Got in touch with Woolworths to see if they would refund the $100. They couldn't do this due to Terms and Conditions, but did give me a $5 eGift Card for the inconvenience. I'll now be spending both the $100 and $5 Gift Card in an online pickup order. Thanks for your help TA.

      Generally speaking, no need to stock up for over 1 month according to one's own spend forcast (unless it is a 10%+ off offer).

      The saving is still minute here and more like an ad to get new customers who do not even know regular 5% off.

    I haven't bought one of these for months.

    Apparently there are a lot of diseases on the EFT terminals. You'll have to buy and use hand sanitiser after you use the terminal which over time can reduce the amount of savings versus say using a card that has points or cashback.

    I wouldn't be surprised if you end up losing money after buying a small dettol hand sanitiser. This is annoying because you only get free sanitiser when you enter the store, not after you leave.

        That's what I'm doing, but I'm not telling everyone follow the same, but if you don't then you are potentially putting yourself at risk.

        If you do buy the hand sanitiser, you could end up worse off depending on what you buy.

        You do need to clean your hands soon after using the terminal though. I don't think that's in dispute.

        People are so sensitive. I'm not even stating this isn't a bargain. It is a bargain provided you do take care of your health. It might not be so lucrative if you get sick though.

        Plus if there was free sanitiser after you exit the terminals then yeah, it's a no brainer. I thought it would get upvotes in that state, but nevertheless, it seems people misinterpreted it. Maybe at some stores there is free sanitiser when you exit, in which case it's a bargain. I never stated it wasn't… lol…

        Or is the majority going to argue, "right, you don't need to use hand sanitiser or that there are no diseases on the terminals"? That's the wrong way to go about it, especially since the outbreak is starting again. They only ask people in the front lines to get checked. When was the last time someone in your office decided because they have some symptoms to get a test? Probably not many can state when.

        Anyway have a complimentary upvote to show I'm not downvoting anyone. It was really a cool story, it's my personal opinion. lol.. It's always good to discuss the reasons why my logic may or may not be flawed. I don't need every person to come back that downvoted to explain why, but some basic explanation from any one of them would be cool. That would be a cool story.

      What's stopping you from using the hand sanitiser again after you leave? I do this on a regular basis (my local Woolies has an automatic hand sanitiser dispenser outside the entrace, I use it both pre and post-shopping.

      Is this your first purchase?

      1) Go back to the cashrewards link
      2) While in the woolies portal, click on your name at the top right
      3) Click "My Orders"
      4) Look at the order you made, if it's In Progress, woolies may be holding your order for verification, if it's your first purchase, might take up to 24 hours, subsequent orders are VERY fast, in the order of within 15 minutes

        Is your statement from the $400 cashback?

        I'm more talking about the double points (4.5 points per $) and double cash redemption (1000 points $100) - effectively 4.5% cashback.

        $500 > $472.5 after cashrewards > 2126 points > $21 off > $451.50

      Same here, I'm consistently getting this error if I use my Coles mastercard (maybe competitor?), have to use another card. Called Coles customer line and they say there's no problem on their side and ask me to check with Woolworths instead..

          Just called woolworths gift card customer service and they told me apparently my address is missing some info hence it was blocked, which is weird as I was able to purchase giftcard with another card… anyway they have removed the block and is good to go again but I have to try again after 24 hours, we'll see
