    No, thats ignorant.

MJs songs are bigger than MJ. If Bill Cosby wrote Thriller then I think we'd still listen to Thriller too.

    • I used to love when he said that

        You're thinking of Michael Jefferson.

    • What's ignorant

  • Selling for $50.50 at Booktopia. This is a decent deal.

I think we know what inspired him… Smooth criminal indeed.

Stevie Wonder and James Brown were his biggest influences. Really inspired his rnb & soul sound in the late 70s / early 80s.

    • you got a chuckle out of me, have an upvote.

  • Does this come with the songs or is it just writing the stories behind the songs?

Why are all the best performers, athletes, etc all farked up people???

    • It's that genius/insanity line:

"There is a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line." —Oscar Levant.

Do you remember the tale of the Emperor and his new clothes?… its very like that. Surrounded by people that dont want to piss you off because you are their job, so they never challenge and often encourage and enable your ridiculous lifestyle, and the celeb becomes to think its normal and everything else is crazy.

Before you know it, youre MrBurns standing there with tissue boxes for slippers, insisting at gun point that Smithers gets in the 10 inch Spruce M(G)oose you made.

      • Emperor and his new clothes is nothing to do with MJ. Didn’t you watch the why Dave Chappell Really left Hollywood video? They surround you like vultures. I’ve watched many hours of MJ and he is very real and nothing the media said.

Watch the Chappell/Oprah interview too. Maybe read the user comments under it.

          LOL, koolaid.

I answered a post about celebs and a history of bizarre behaviour long before the modern media, even long before paparazzi. It was not necessarily about MJ… but on MJ, Jesus juice, his owns words. You do not give kids wine if youre not the parent, not simply because its a parents choice, but because its sus as all hell. Add in the cutesy name, Jesus juice, hes grooming them. Add in they are in a room no one can enter, sharing a bed… grow up, he was a kiddie fiddler, and a nutcase regardless. He had predator written all over him, and he assumed no one would notice because hes MJ. Delusional.

@Tuba: You’re trolling me. Many children MJ was close to say he did nothing. Just this year Macauley culkin gave an interview saying nothing happened.

@grasstown: LOL again, what makes you think every victim wants to be known? Just as with the celebrity 'rape' and coerced sex allegations, theres plenty of actresses wish the news re: say Weinstein (sp?) would go away as they dont want to be known for the deeds that got them their break.

What makes you think everyone had to be a victim? I only need to be right once, you need to right every time.

JESUS JUICE, and kids, anyone with a brain in their head knows just on this alone.

              • +1

@Tuba: One kid said he called it that. You say it like it’s fact

                • @grasstown: …like yours is your own eye witness testimony.

His own words, he admitted to sharing beds, oh but he slept in the floor, in a mansion, with so many rooms.

                  Seriously grow up.
