  • In my view the best deal in the StarBuy sale is the Seiko Black Monster for $379 https://www.starbuy.com.au/seiko-prospex-black-monster-200m-...

If only that was the Save the Ocean variant I'd snap it up for $379 in a heartbeat!

  • wow thats a great price. it's a shame about the mineral glass but it's a great looking watch, especially on a brown leather strap imo

  • Great deals :)

  • OP of the previous deal :)
Love the Seiko Presage Blue Moon - an absolute beauty!
Such as good deal at $399

  • Superb watches, but be careful not to scratch them. Had mine about 2 months now and no scratches yet, fingers crossed I can keep it that way. Once a watch face becomes scratched the enjoyment is gone for me. This hardlex is supposed to be pretty durable though.

    • Is there something you can apply to remove? Not for deep ones of course

  • I don’t know why star buy never put the leather strap versions on sale.
    I have the skydiving variant.
Honestly this watch keeps time the worst amongst all my mechanicals. It is also the cheapest. But the 4r35 is not a good time keeper. I can lose about 20 minutes in a month.

    • I don't know much about watches, but was suprised at the 35/45 seconds a day accuracy, thought that was huge for a watch. Your commemt confirms that I guess.

    • My Mockingbird doesn't lose that much…Same movement too.

      • The problem is the 20 minutes is within the movements stated accuracy so it’s working according to its stated accuracy.
        You might be lucky.

        • Yeah that's real unfortunate to have it be "within specs". I have two other watches with the same 4r35 but haven't tested their time holding yet for a comparison.

  • The watch looks dressier in person, it's really not a watch I would wear casually.
