    • Even better!

Was hoping for their Edge 530 price to be just as good. Unfortunately not.

I have the old Edge 130 and while it has all the features I need in a neat compact package, the battery life is not the best. I only get around 6 hours with GPS, phone pairing and with backlight set to 10 seconds on medium

if you want battery life get the 530. it's insane, well over 20 hours (i measured 26-28) as advertised assuming you turn backlight off, but phone is fine.

Can confirm, 530 battery life is outstanding.

  • Also looks like a good deal considering they want $429 with an added Heart Rate Monitor

    • Yep makes me think it's most likely a price error.

      • I mean its $299 at Pushys, so maybe not?

        • true maybe not!

        • but then th ebundle pricing seems way waaayy off

  • Doesn't look like the new version has improved battery life. Pass

Even at this price the Wahoo Bolt is still a better deal in my opinion.

Garmin Edge 130 vs Wahoo Bolt – Comparison of 2020

For way much better battery performance (+12 hours) but definitely not for the faint-hearted, try replacing the Edge 130 battery

      • To save people time from clicking through the comparison link, I have quoted the conclusion:

        Conclusion
It’s fun to compare devices to see which one’s best, but discussing Garmin Edge 130 vs Wahoo Bolt is unfair because they’re on separate leagues.

In fact, the Wahoo Elemnt Bolt is far superior to many devices coming from the Edge Series produced by Garmin.

  • Decent price for the unit, but Garmin still seems overpriced for the spec when compared to Lezyne.

However, I'm increasingly finding Bikebug to be at the head of the queue at the moment re: good pricing from online bikes shops, compared to Pushys, Chain Reaction/Wiggle, Pro Bike Kit.

    • I actually found Pushys to have some competitive pricing if you know where to look. I bought a Cervelo C5 with Dura-ace and disc brakes for around $3300 including shipping.

Wiggle is still easily the best pricing if you meet the free shipping threshold.

      • What’s up with wiggle’s inventory?
For “The worlds largest online retailer”, they have nothing in stock that I was looking for. So many products are sold out. For the largest retailer, this does not compute.

        • There are rumours about supply chain disrupted by coronavirus

          • @wtfnodeal: Seems like an easy cop out though, I'm skeptical. I ordered there the other day and the free shipping limit is now $200, tons of stuff not in stock anymore - almost like they don't want any Australian business anymore.

      • No way!

  • All sold out, now showing as $299.99.
