This set only contains sockets 12mm and 1/2" or smaller. You'd need another larger set for lug nuts and sump plugs.

Can be used anywhere really. IMO Mechpro Blue is a decent quality.
Although a lot of wasted sockets - 9 imperial sizes and 7 sizes in metric from 6mm in standard and deep. I got a metric set years ago that was 0.5mm step sizes from 4mm to 7mm, and 1mm step to 12mm. Quite useful.
So, just depends how much you're likely to come across imperial in these small sizes.
If you're getting one set, might be better to get a 3/8 set with a larger range, but this is a good price
has up to 12mm so covers many DIY things, bikes, assemble furniture/ beds/ swap fridge doors, etc,etc.
For anyone who's interested, I have this set and it's awesome. Really good quality for the money. 1/4in is great for working in interiors or in tight spaces.

Is this just for automotive use or is it a bit of an all rounder? I’m just after a set that can be used for the occasional work around the house or when building stuff that involves bolts and nuts. But also some car works like roof racks and bits and pieces. Would this be ok?
