After seeing the very average Playstation Plus 10 year theme, I decided it'd be worth sharing that there's lots of much better themes, for free, already on the Playstation store.

There are 322 themes:

Hopefully someone enjoys!

I should note, some are PS Plus exclusive - but not many. I couldn't find an easy way to filter those ones out.

Finally, some themes are 'Dynamic Themes'. In my opinion these look the best. If you search for 'Dynamic Theme' in the store and filter by price, you can see all these, like so.

          I use Chrome and can access everything on Sony website from PC or mobile over the years

            @Scythic: Just built a new server, and a new gaming rig not 6 months ago. Was doing it before, is doing it still now. Always has trouble signing in. Even my work PC, and my surface laptop have the same issue.

          Update your MacOS? Works no problem on US store or AU store on Safari or Edge on my Mac running Mojave.

            @Agret: I am running OSX Catalina 10.15.5 which is the latest OSX to date. I still cant no log into the Playstation Store on iMac or my iPhone yet I can on my iPad - Big WTF his going on

    Time to change it up if you're still running a default PS3 one from back in the day.

    Maximum of 10 items per cart makes it more painful than bulk "buying" Amazon eBooks though…probably a good thing as if you add all this free crap to your account, your download list is going to be a nightmare to navigate.

    I can see that there are only positive votes in this deal. But when the free theme mentioned gay pride, a previous post was bombarded with negative votes and harmful comments.

      This. Some themes aren't worth the effort of a few clicks to get them so a preview would be great. Some look like advertising! I think I'm using a Mirror's Edge one at the moment that is pretty cool. Haven't checked to see if it's in the free list.

        Mirrors Edge one is so nice and relaxing, music is great on it. I was stalking that theme for years until they made it free. (used to be locked to people who pre-ordered the game exclusively)

        The other theme I like is the Rez Theme with music turned off, it's cool how the things fly in front of the XMB

    After failing to find it with your suggested search, it seems that the Final Fantasy VII Remake Tifa Theme has 'Dynamic Theme' in the thumbnail but not the name. Is it actually dynamic? Feels pretty ordinary, maybe its not.

          Damn. Maybe I picked it up already but didn't download it. Has your download list been rearranged with older/PS3 purchases showing up before your most recent ones?

            @Graffin: I don't know but if you turn on your PS4 and goto the themes section any non-downloaded themes will come up at the bottom of the list. I just tried to redeem the code for the theme on my account and it says that it's no longer valid. Don't think I ever got it sadly. Hopefully when the game launches they will put the theme up on the store properly instead of this silly code.

    Great! Now I just have to unbox my Fortnite PS4 Pro which has been sitting in its box for six months. And I've had Alien: Isolation for three years, sacrilege!! Plus Res Evil 7, Evil Within 1 & 2, Doom, etc… Returned the slim console over two years ago… Too busy.

    The Uncharted 10th Anniversary theme has always been a personal favourite of mine. That and the RDR2, Until Dawn, and Metro Exodus themes.

      The Last of Us 2 Dynamic theme is cool too. Nice overgrown nature theme and music, switches between pleasant and dangerous.

      Not just to stare at the menu but you do see it every time you turn on the PS4 and while you are waiting for your friends to get online and join a party or while deciding which game to play or while waiting for a 20-50gb game update to download. I spend a decent amount of time looking at the home screen 🤷‍♂️
