Little Soldiers: An American Boy, a Chinese School and the Global Race to Achieve
Riveting, provocative and unflinchingly candid, Little Soldiers is a must-read for parents, educators, and global citizens alike.
Little Soldiers is the best book I've read about education in China. Lenora Chu's … tells this personal story with great insight and humor, and it's combined with first-rate research into the current state of education in China.
I couldn't put this book down. It's a game changer that challenges our tendency to see education practices in black and white.

Amy Chua, Yale Law Professor and author of Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother.

  • people love buying crap

    • How have you deduced that this is crap?

    1. american
    2. christian
    3. heavily funded by us government
    4. not a lot of mention of how american education is based on literally buying certificates and even phd's.

having to work to suceed is stressful, always been that way in the West unless you were rich. less chance of getting stabbed raped shot or beaten in Chinese schools compared to America - where clearly these stressors on top of financial disadvantage
are apparently of zero consequence. Ability don't get u far in the us without money.
