    It’s a waste of money if it’s not MFI. I’ve wasted so much money on such malfunctioning or dysfunctional cables.

        Tend to agree. No deal here for non certified cables.
        Reference to a USB-A cable has very little relevance.

      They are more likely to move towards having no ports at all and all wireless charging!
