The game is backwards compatible.
Deal is linked to the Japan store.
Try the Korean store if it doesn't work.
Try using a VPN if you cant get it to work.

Sometimes you might have to refresh the pages a couple of times or try logging in and out to get it to show. Worked for me the first time.

Thanks OP. Seems to have worked through the Japanese store using a VPN and Google translate to navigate my way on the product page.

I can't seem to get it to work with mine.
You can even change your Xbox setting to Japan and redeem it.

Because, I did that and it also didn't work (unless I'm supposed to set the language as Japanese as well?)

I go through VPN Unlimited (paid). However….I've just realised that I may have already had if it was free with Gold at at some point. I did go through the entire checkout process though and I'm sure if doesn't if you own the game already. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.
Set my Xbox to Japan and got it fine.
Obviously if it cost anything I'd run into an issue with my bank card being used internationally, but since it's "free" they didn't seem to twig for me.
Note: it has been free as part of Games with Gold, back in April 2017
I'm genuinely blown out there's people who don't have this yet. I've got it free on at least 2 different store fronts, and I think I've got it dirt cheap on at least 2 more from bundles.

Clicked the Korean store link through my PC and it said thanks for your purchase but didn't charge me anything (yet)
Didn't work for me - coming up as $29.95, for both Korea and Japan, and with and without VPN. (Haven't tried changing region on Xbox)

hmmm, I tried this a few days ago and it didn't work; still doesn't.
Shows as zero for gold, but pop up payment screen shows as 29.95 regardless of Japan or Korea
