    Free voucher?

    • Only one I did that had a voucher was AZ-900 - Azure Fundamentals, but it didn't make this list (not sure if its invite only atm). Took about 6 hours for the webinar and then about a day to study and pass the test

      • I registered for the webinar but never got an email confirmation, does it mean I should try to register again.

        • Yep, they seem to fill up quickly so it's really luck of the draw.

The Power Platform course appears to give you a brief run through of what Power Apps, Power Bi and Power Automate (Microsoft Flow) can do. I've recently been learning the Power Apps software and when used with SharePoint lists and Microsoft Flow it is a pretty great tool.

If you take the course and find yourself wanting to know more about what Power Apps can do, I've found Shane Young's videos very helpful learning the ins and outs and can recommend them

The app in a day courses (when they were run face to face) were awesome, it's pretty powerful (pun intended) stuff.

Every company should be getting into RPA and Flows are basically a gateway drug. Want to impress the hell out of people? Trigger automated approval emails that deal with all their crap like magic. Then turn it into a pretty dashboard.

Add to that replacing everyone's shitting macros with data wrangling done in Power BI that's fast and automated and you're bloody Merlin. That is until you run into someone who actually works with databases and cringes at how you've setup your data, but ne'er the twain shall meet

      • You seem to know some stuff dude. Can you suggest what I should be reading/practicing to begin executing this at my own organisation?

        Thanks!

What we found restricting was the premium features/connectors and licensing for the Power Platform. We have Power Automate as part of our E3 License but had to buy Premium Server and Pro licensing for Power BI. We still find that we still have to resort to SharePoint Designer or Nintex Workflows for SPO. Saying that, these are fantastic for citizen developers but when you have very complex forms and workflows, you still have to use Visual Studio.

    • Are all these 3 Power platform application free to download and use at home? I know Power BI is available to download.

      • Yes (but Power BI and Power Apps require a work or school account - hint: use your ISP's email address)

  • Thanks OP!

  • Thanks OP. Signed up to the power platform webinar. Will tie into the grad certificate in analytics that I'm starting soon.

I did Journey to Microsoft Teams a few weeks ago. It was pretty good for free!

  • All these courses are good if you want to do something with your career . can’t go wrong :)

  • Thanks!

  • Did anyone get a link? Signed up to power session via work and personal email, but got nothing.

    • Mine went to clutter and i had to use search to find it. I also noticed if you have a video download plugin such as Ant Download Manager (Which i got free from one of the previous post on Ozbargain), you can download the session and watch it on your own convenience. Hope this helps!
