Thanks for the reminder. Also live on Fox Sports and Kayo if you have them.

    Yes, the Cricket is back.

  • Wonder when Australia will start playing…

    • India was meant to tour this Summer. I wonder where they gonna have the boxing day test now.

      • I doubt there will be one. International will still be restricted at Christmas time, and I doubt they'll give leniency to a country that has the third most amount of cases worldwide, with conditions that may make it blow out even more.

        • +2

If India are prepared to quarantine for 14 days, why not?

I imagine that they want to play as much as Australia.

        • +1

I'm sure CA and the governments will take the necessary precautions before they let them play here.

        • Cricket Australia will lose $300 million if it get cancelled. This will happen 100%, even if top the chart in cases…as long as players test -ve.

          • +1

@back2vg: Agreed, if we can make a protective bubble for 10 Victorian AFL teams and their support staff, then we can look after a 50 person Indian touring party, extended quarantine where they can play intra team games—just like the windies did when they arrived in England.

    • There's a lot of England fans have been asking the same question

  • Anyone able to login?

    • Not me….it just take you back to the login screen once you complete the login screen. Might start working later tonight when the game starts?

    • did you ever figure it out? I can't log in either.. just loops around like a Nietzchean nightmare eternal return thingy

  • +10

    No crowds.

So it’ll be just like a Sheffield Shield game….

    • -2

worse with the Windies batting line up

      • They’ve showed some spirit over the past few years but as a whole the team ain’t that great.

        England to win easily.

      • they won! looks like the whole series gonna be a good contest

      • +3

        This aged well…

      • +1

Erm, West Indies have taken a 1-0 lead in this series. You really should get this deal.

        • 1-1, and they retain their trophy if they manage to draw this! England need to play fast aggressive cricket if they want to go 2-1.

  • +1

i hope they past the test.

Do you have to have a Fox Sports or Kayo account?? How else can we watch it??

    • +2

There is a pretty clear explanation under "How to Watch" in the post.

    • +1

Fly to London and sneak into stadium.

  • I don’t like cricket….

    • +14

      ……I love it.

    • +1

Why doesn’t Agarwal get more credit? He set him up.

      • Didn't make it clear enough that he was going for the start of dreadlock holiday.

  • Why is Nicholas Pooran not in the WI team? Guy's their best batsman

    • +1

Probably needs to play more First class cricket rather than chasing the dollar of T20 cricket like the majority of West Indian cricketers

      • Have you seen his 50 overs game? He certainly knows how to build an innings, the hundred in the WC wasn't exactly T20 style

  • in before the Major from Fawlty Towers gets it shut down…

  • +3

    Good find OP.
They should turn the stump mic on all the time until the crowd is allowed. If no crowd noise, would be good to hear players "noise".

    • +1

Cant imagine that would be OK'ed by the broadcaster or the players

      • Especially India, as conservative cricketers as they come.

  • I am unable to Sign-in. Is anyone experiencing the same problem? Also this link on the page doesn't work https://watch.cricket.com.au/. Hopefully things get restored by 8:00pm.

    • Same here. Hope it start working when match starts. Would love to chromecast it to TV (not tab casting).

Can we watch it in an app if there is one?

    • Same here. I haven't tried the app yet.

  • Livestreams were available (before the pandemic) at https://watchcric.eu

Id love to know how they fixed that world cup final. Playing it live would surely have been hard enough. Ben Stokes must be a genius.

      • +5

Cricket is the greatest summer sport in the world.

      • maybe you should have watched it, the constant one sided umpiring decisions. the make believe extra run, and some knowledge of the rules of the game would have helped you see past your eye patch.

      It is raining. FML

      • +1

Lucky for me it's raining, all I get now is

        "We dropped the ball.
We are currently having some technical challenges - we're on it and things will be back to normal soon"

Not unsurprised though, I've been a previous paid user of the streaming service and saw that message often enough.

Live updates (but match delay) https://www.espncricinfo.com/

    • -4

      who cares?

      • +1

Obviously you care enough to make comments about it all the time.

        • -3

i dont care about the updates to any tv entertainment sport anywhere they are found, which is normally on betting sites… funny that heh?

          • +2

@petry: The commentators and updates on cricinfo are great. The ultimate bible for cricket fans.

If there is light or rain delay they will update you on ETA for play to resume etc and current conditions. So youre asking who cares? Cricket fans wanting to check when play is going to resume….

            • @TightTerry: no cricket fan had anything good to say about the last world cup cricket final so guess that rules you out?

    • +1

I used to love cricket, but Michael Clarke and this recent lot really turned me off it… the whole cheating incident also didn't help the sport either.

And no, I'm not a boomer.

    • You can watch cricket and get something else done at the same time.

  • can we have 2nd test match link please

  • +1

Signed in with my Google account.
