That's lowest it's been since black friday sales, I had to return my 1TB order of this NVMe because they sent me 512GB instead. Since it's a US stock, Amazon AU doesn't do replacement I have to return it to the US and wait for refund. Not a great experience so far, not sure I wanna do that again with this 2TB

TBH I still don't think 2TB is at a sweet spot price yet, unlike 1TB.

    • Agreed, you have to REALLY need a 2TB to make a case for it.

  • Tempted as the reviews of this product seem pretty good. What's the return process like?

    • Send back to Amazon US using their prepaid drop off, then wait for them to refund you. You can reach out to support after a week or two of drop off and ask for an update and if they can refund it before they received the product back.

      • Bought it. Hopefully it turns out good! Don't mind waiting for it.

  • Awesome find OP! Price drops are because of the new model coming out in a month or 2 which is almost twice the read and write speed of this. If you can hold out, wait.

  • Anyone spending big $$$ on storage should consider warranty length and RMA process. Based on the comments, this might not be easy as this is a US product.

    • Yeh, since it's from global store, they won't do replacement, at most they will do a refund instead, not ideal if you need a replacement to rather than wait for a refund then go buy another drive

  • 2tb version is just for user who really need it. Compared to 1tb version, just the storage size upgraded. Performance is even a bit worse than 1tb version.

  • Mine finally arrived today. Installed it, had to download some intel drivers and then I cloned my entire drive to it. Accidently peeled off my warranty sticker from the back when sticking on the heatsink. Hopefully nothing goes wrong!
