I opened up the KFC ready to prove you wrong but I'll be damned, the Cheap as Chips meal I ordered for 20.95 last week and listed as 24.95 on the app reverted back to 20.95 after pressing Check Out.
The app has been a sh!tshow for months. Hasn't accepted credit cards payments since April ("Order cannot be placed at this time") and it's been showing these dodgy prices for several weeks, which is very apparent in the app reviews. But on the bright side the H&S deal is drawing a LOT of bad attention to it so maybe it will finally get fixed.
Looking forward to trying and then being disappointed by some Cold & Mild chicken today.
I like KFC so have no standards. No standards = cannot be disappointed.

QLD and WA have different management to VIC and NSW. They have H&S available all year, so when we get it they get the cheap Tuesdays deal instead.

Had hot n spicy today, very disappointing…. no flavour. Not hot and spicy at all. Crispy coating was good, but flavour lacking.
In all honesty.. these haven't been "hot and spicy" for years.
I like the double breading and the moistness of the chicken compared to original recipe.However if you compare them to Extra Crispy versus Hot and Spicy and there is a difference.

Had this. 1 chicken wing, 1 wing flat. small fries, mash and gravy. was about 70g of chicken meat and 400 grams of potatoes and oil. I suppose you get what you pay for.

I had this today and lucked out with 2× drumsticks instead of 1x piece chicken + 1× Chicken wing. 😆
I was expecting to be underwhelmed with the hot & spicy but was instead pleasantly surprised.
The coating was fresh and crunchy, the meat was tender and juicy (drumsticks are like that) and the spicy-ness was as expected (3 out of 10). 👍
The usual sides (chips, gravy, roll) are… as usual (meh).
It's all about the chicken, right 🤤
