This is more of a reminder as it seems to be an ongoing deal and got my first heads up on this from a few older OzB posts. I literally alternate between Suncorp/QBE yearly for the gift card. "Happy wife, happy life!"

Although, doing 6mths via MAIC for Suncorp is still showing $50 on the campaign page, whereas over a year ago it was $25 for 6mths… worth a shot for those who do 6mth renewals.

  I also swap CTP insurers each year to get a gift card every time I renew rego. It's a good way to make registration costs a little lower.

  Great post!

  Just switched now with 10 days to due, so that's $50 for half a minute's work.

  Will put a reminder on my calendar to switch out again next July.

  I keep swapping my CTP for two cars between QBE and Suncorp and score $50 + $25 every year :) Can't complain about the free money.

  FYI, use MAIC and select SUNCORP or QBE among the choices, and then fill in your information on the next page before submitting.
  The tricky part is, DO NOT change your currently option (for me it was Allianz then) when progressing through the DTMR payment page, otherwise you'll be an EXISTING customer to your new CTP insurance company and no rewards
