      Awwww, thanks man!

      :P

  • Got one!

  • Got the xylophone for the bub, thanks!

    • xylophone is gone now! :(

    • I'm jealous because I didn't get in in time to get a xylophone for my bub - but do be careful with the small parts.

To help Aussies address their privacy concerns, we are giving away a limited number of IKEA Mindsets

by asking you to register details for a product?

    • +1

      the irony XD

    • +1

Well, if you read more, you'll see they're referring to privacy in your home due to lockdown.
There's probably different words in Swedish for the 2 different concepts.

  • +1

Thanks, chose the puzzle coaster for my desk!

    • +2

I went this way as well

      • +1

yup seems useful … and potentially not as annoying as the xylofone which seems really cool too but after a while with the kids would get annoying, then probably become a coaster anyway :P

    • -4

      Oops sorry wrong website!

      • Brother why do they hat us

  • not available

    • Skulptur still there

  • +2

    Xylofon out of stock already.

  • Missed out on the Fågelhus :(

  • Damn, missed out on the xylophone! Got the coaster. Cheers!

  • Only Skulptur left.

  • I will probably receive this before the purchase I made some weeks ago… they're hopeless with delivery.

    • Was it in stock? I got stuff delivered on a Tuesday after ordering on Friday afternoon - but I had to wait weeks for the items to actually be in stock….

      • -1

yes - it was only some AA batteries.
When I was deciding to purchase with an exorbitant $9 delivery, it said it would take about 5 business days.
However afterwards my purchase confirmation email gave me a date of 3 weeks later. … I couldn't believe it.

That was about 10 days ago and of course still nothing.

As soon as it arrives I'll be going to the store (only a few KMs away anyway) and demanding a refund for goods and delivery too.

        • Turns out I ordered on 30/06 and delivery anticipated for 21/07 - not even dispatched but lots of stock available…
I have just called up IKEA to cancel.

          nonsense.

  • All gone now.

Didn't need it and didn't order it. I wonder how many more could say the same?

    • I mean nobody really needs any of these. Xylophones are good baby toys though!

    • +1

My dentist told me I needed to practice mindfulness to prevent grinding my teeth.

  • +1

    All gone….

  • All gone, I came in just a minute ago, and got Skulptur, exactly what I wanted, phew!

  • Wow that was quick!

    • +9

Employee: Sir, we have run out of stock of the freebie that was offered to only pregnant women.
Boss: Damn, we got ozbargained, I had enough stock for all women in Australia

    • That’s pretty cool.

  • +11

    Over 3500 clicks,

This is why freebies need to be for registered members only.

    • Now this is a novel idea!

      • I don't know if there is enough in it for that, but maybe a short story.

  • Missed out

  • Just received my order confirmation email, thanks OP!

  • Why do I always miss these…

    • you snooze you lose

      • you lose you snooze

  • Are these actually available to buy?

    • Probably on eBay in a few weeks time

  • mine has just shipped!

  • mine has just been delivered! yeah! christmas present sorted!

  • +1

Mine also got delivered just now. I ordered the heatmat; the box is huuuuuuuuge …

  • Are people buying these for themselves or their kids?

    • +1

I got it for myself; I figured that the heatmat would be the most useful out of the available offerings.

      1. No one bought anything, it’s free.
      2. This isn’t for children. It’s an initiative for adults who need to be mindful of their mental health during COVID, hence ‘mindfulness’.
      3. Perhaps stop with your antics, it’s not funny and actually quite annoying.
      • -1

My apologies for my 'antics' annoying you to the point where you had to reply to my comment when you could have simply chosen to ignore it instead.

Just FYI there's a block function which will block my comments from being seen by you, I've taken the initiative and done it for you, I expect this to be reciprocated thanks.

        • +1

It’s annoying everyone, not just me. You deserve to be called out, not just ignored.

  • I thought Ikea sent me the wrong order, because the box is HUGE
Turns out the actual item is quite big as well (I ordered the Skulptur)

    • Turns out the actual item is also pretty useful
The wood is thick and sturdy, which allows you to put things on it

  • Got my birdhouse :) how do u tie the rope together? It's not in the instructions and the rope is quite thick and not that long

  • So I just had my delivery - I got the puzzle coaster. 9 normal coasters fit on it!

  • Got mine (Xylofon) ! BIG box! It's so cute!

  • The skulptur is sweet - Fintan is one of my favourite street artists stoked to have this

  • +2

PS - not worth making the ‘speaker’ - it’s just a cup with a hole in it

  • received the sculpture today, a lot bigger then I thought it would be.

  • +2

Has anyone tried assembling the puzzle coaster found that the pieces are really hard to fit together and take apart?

    • +3

Yeah, I wouldn't say it was a particularly relaxing experience! ahaha

For some reason (clearly didn't watch the video!), I thought the whole puzzle was a single coaster for a mug…I'm going to need a bigger mug!!! (It's actually a trivet for a pot, and the individual puzzle pieces can be used as coasters)

(Would have preferred a mini puzzle that forms a single coaster, tbh…but it was free, so I guess I can't complain!)

      • +3

My thoughts exactly! Haha I also thought it was a coaster for a mug.

I also thought it was weird that all the pieces just don't seem to be cut from the same piece of wood (the grains don't match when pieces are put together). and I have also accidentally damaged some of the wood taking it apart as well :S I don't recommend taking this apart once you put it together!

        • +1

Yeah, it seems like they have cut the pieces individually and then taken one of each piece and bundled them together. Rather than taking one piece of cork and cutting the single puzzle from it.

I don't recommend taking this apart once you put it together!

Yeah, I'm just going to leave it as a trivet - I prefer the cleaner aesthetic of the basic IKEA cork coasters anyway (just wish they were thicker), so I'm not going to bother using individual puzzle pieces as coasters.

    • I literally had to jump on top of mine to get the last piece to go in!

  • Just received my Skulptur today - will get it set up later tonight : )

  • Got it, but the box is damaged, No use for me due to that. Emailed them and they did nothing other than sorry and will give feedback the relevant dept.

    • +1

If it's no use to you, then how about offering it up for other members who missed out?

I'm sure there is someone here near you who missed out and would gladly take it off your hands. :)

    • +2

It was free! Jeez can’t believe you’re complaining about something free. Wowee.
