    • Only for Size 6….

    • Only on the Size 6 boys, from the looks of it - maybe a stock issue?

    Both genders

Makes me laugh whenever I see people looking for 'boys' nappies at the shops and there's only 'girls' nappies left in stock.

you dont think the different location of the extra absorbent stuff makes a difference?

      • +1

They're the same. There is no extra absorbent part, from the front all the way to the back is absorbent on both genders nappies.

        Obviously never seen a nappy.

And it is not sized differently either, they're identical aside from the pattern printed onto the outside, which is what changes it from just a nappy to a girls or boys nappy.

        • What do you mean there is no extra absorbent part?
There definitely is and it’s visually noticeable. Boys nappies have more padding at the front, while girl nappies have more padding in the crotch.
Whether or not this actually matters in terms of leakage is another thing.
I find if bubs is changed often enough you won’t get leaks with either. The only exception for us would be overnight, where sometimes there’s leaks if I use the wrong one.

@kthomas: I have had our 4 year old boy, in the girls ones, no problem. The boys seem to sell out

Anyway I bought another 2 boxes. Hopefully he'll be done by the time we run out

          • -1

@kthomas: I agree there is a difference for some little boys. I don't use these nappies or even gendered nappies, but know that some shapes of nappies suit boys vs girls better, and even different babies better - e.g. skinny or chunky legs. Within my mums group I find that the mums of girls tend to go for certain brands and of boys others. Some babies are heavier wetters than others, so it might make more of a difference, to those little boys. The huggies ultimate (non gender specific) leaked at the front for our boy even when his nappy was being changed frequently, so we change to the Aldi ones that work well for us.

I think the same when guys are annoyed when the men's undies are sold out. Like… just buy some women's panties dudes. I mean some of them are even called boyshorts…

same unit price at Woolworths this week just in smaller packs ($8.50ea)

    • yeah. got some from woolworths.

    • Yep and if you are lucky there is 3000 pts for $50 spendings at Woolies this week. Much better deal than this.

    • Really? It looks like only nappy pants on the website.

  • Cheers OP.

Now just need the normal nappy types on sale.

  • Thanks OP. Ordered some yesterday before I saw this deal!

    Good price.

I use the Aldi ones for my 5 month old. They're 20c each (50pk for $10) and have never had any leakage or rashes. These are still 29c each

    • We use the Aldi ones too have been using from about 1month through to now 10months and don't get leaks or rashes. They are definitely good value. I do wish they didn't have the weird smell that I find they have (i.e. the nappy itself, rather than what goes in it).

The 24 packs of these are also half price at Woolies. Ends up being about the same price per nappy.
