    So very tempted. Love the Q Acoustics build quality and sound. Just not sure that I can live with the white finish.

      We do have other colours available (black and walnut) however they're priced at $1399 a pair… you'll be saving $400 if you let the white finish grow on you :)

    Fantastic speakers, I got a pair which cost 30% more when the dollar was worth more. Only thing people should consider is whether white is okay.

      You'll definitely be upgrading if you go with the 3050i speakers.. you will need to pair them with an amplifier though as they are passive speakers vs. the A9 which is an active, self powered speaker. Let me know if you need a hand choosing one and I'll be happy to help :)

        Yes, please. I just checked your recommendation below. I bought phono preamplifier (Cambridge Audio Solo) for my record player (Sony PSHX500). So is there any amplifier without phono built-in that you would recommend? And do you think the concept 300 worth the price difference?

          Well these speakers require between 25-100 watts from a stereo amp so for that price I can recommend a couple for you in the AMC range as they're a high current amplifier so would have no issues driving these:

          • XIA 30 (currently at $399; RRP $699)
          • XIA 50 (currently at $499; RRP $799)

          For these speakers, the XIA 50 would definitely be the one I would recommend more as it runs 50 watts RMS per channel so it is going to give your speakers more drive, however they'll both do the job just fine :)

    Would these be well suited for surround sound films? Every review I've read highlight how well these perform over stereo with music but couldn't find much info on how they perform in a 7.1 setup.
