960

This came into my mailbox couple weeks ago, I save the coupon booklet all into a PDF file,

Print in Colour or maybe can try to print it black and white.

Most importantly the expires date must be readable.

p.s not sure if it works in other states, I'm in NSW so guys please let everyone here knows if it works in other states.

ENJOY~

    they will accept?

    • +1

Yea~ print it in colour jsut in case, but make sure they can read the expires date,

Sorry first time post, I should have mention a bit more

    • +3

      haha~ thanks

      • -8

try again. Hooray, got it this time.

    • +26

      Please correct your spelling: "please".
      Also, capitalisation: "Correct".

      • +2

It was a reasonable and polite request, received in good spirit by the OP. The bargain's title is ideally concise and free of errors.

      • +2

No capital is needed after an abbreviation is there?

        • +2

          After the full stop.

        • You are correct 'bargainhunter', should have read:
Thanks. Please correct your spelling in title- 'coupons'

      • It's an abbreviation, it means please in a less serious way.
        I hate gramma nazis.

        • I'm not sure whether you're trolling grammar nazis or grandma nazis there…

        • pretty much everyone 'trolls' grammar nazis just by posting. who uses exact grammar on the net, especially on such a laid back site like this.

    EPIC COUPON BOOK, OZBARGAIN STYLE

  • Why I never receive any hungry jacks coupon in my mailbox? there is one in food court just 5 mins away.

    • +5

Because catalogue delivery pays so badly that they hire you as an independent contractor to get around minimum wage laws

      • theres this place in parra which send you out with a GPS tracker for $10/hr

  • +6

At most of the Hungry Jack's outlets I go to, they just have these books piled up on the counter. If not, try asking for one; they often have them behind the counter and dole them out readily. Save your ink! :)

    • this guys right i used to work at hj just ask em, say u didnt get urs but u know there is some around atm we used to run out tho pretty fast

  • Just a suggestion: try taking a better photo of just single coupons (eg even an iPhone can give better reprintable quality than that) instead of the whole sheet. One high-quality "2 grilled chickens" coupon is much better and less likely to be questioned when printed than a row of average quality coupons.

    Still big thumbs up.

    • +2

thanks for your suggestions, LOL, I actually scanned all this with a HP scanner, looks like is time to update my scanners……..

Yup, you're right, some of these are just duplicates anyway!

      • +4

The resolution is fine. Just zoom in.

(I'd much prefer high res scans than unsharp/poor colour reproduced photos)

        • +2

          thanks for your suggestions!

It's about time these places allowed ecoupons on phones to save paper/ink etc. Printing out and delivering 50,000 of these things each week seems a huge waste to me… :( the amount of junk catalogues each week I get that go straight from post box to recycle bin is such a shame.

Someone even tried to sell this on ebay: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=23…

  • can anybody upload it to any other uploading site ? my work wont let me get on to ozbargain upload page :(

  • umm. i must be daft, where can i get this PDF file? I cant see any download links and the image just takes me back to this page?

  • -2

    Excellent post!

However - i have suspicions that the prices are jacked up year-by-year by HJ - is this true?
ie. my fave, flame grilled bacon deluxe - used to be $5.95? Or am i wrong?

    • +23

Er, you have suspicions that businesses are increasing their prices over time?

    • +6

      its called inflation

      • +17

customers of HJ's know all about inflation (of their bellies)

When I was a kid Wagon Wheels were the actual size of wagon wheels, and you could buy twelve imperial tons of hot chips by reflecting sunlight off a penny from fifty paces away.

  • Nice one!!
Just wondering if it is available in WA? Haven't see these sort of vouchers in ages… thought they don't exist anymore…

    • +1

I'm NoR and I received mine about 2 weeks ago.

Silly Q to everyone…Do HJ's accept printed coupons?

I don't wanna rock up with my rollodeck of coupons only to be told No.

      • +3

They did. I printed in black and bought in several stores, working everytime. If they ask you, just tell them from internet.

        • I can confirm that it worked at HJ's Bullcreek.

  • Props for the effort.

  • +1, totally getting fat tonight

    • I got excited reading this post too, but I wouldn't have gotten THAT excited like you said!

  • +3

What is the normal price for the whopper junior deal thing? Just redeemed mine for $4.95 and goddamn this thing is small. Tiny coke, small chips and mini whopper.

  • Argh damn my crappy printer, won't print the text clear enough

    +1 though

  • +1

    Great post.
I took a photo of the PDF image with my phone to show to the counter and it worked without hassle.
This was a HJ store in Richmond, VIC.

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • thank you!

  • Thank you sooo much

  • LOL i have a lot of these since last month

    • +3

AND YOU DIDNT THINK TO SHARE THEM!?!??!

  • +1

I miss getting these vouchers in the mail. I don't receive them any more for some reason… no idea.

Haha i remember about 10 years ago when the vouchers included 2x double whopper with cheese for $3.00. Good times =p

    • They keep a stack of booklets behind the counter. Just ask for one.

      • I asked, the kid looked at me strangely and said no, they post them out but don't keep them at the store

  • +1

Remember in the old days we usee to get yhese coupons more often and now its rare. If anyome doesnt want to print it just trace it

  • The burgers are better at Hungry Jack's. 2 thumbs up for the deal.

    • Their catch cry is now "Hungry Jacks Makes it better", because they've shifted focus from just burgers.

  • +1

I remember the day when you could get 2 cheeseburgers and 2 cokes or fries for 3.95 :( (2 years ago)

EDIT: Lots of HJ reminiscing in here.

    • I don't remember anything like that back then. I came to this country 3 years ago and the prices are still the same. The Oz dollar at that time was below the parity though.

  • +3

Na nothinh beats the $2 meals with small fries sheeseburger and coke. Remember when they had monopoly game about 15years ago they had $2 meals… Things were so cheaper back then and now so expensive… Somehow we all feel ripped, agree?

  • +1

Could try to ask for a booklet at the store.
When I was there I saw heaps of people asking the employees and they just gave out the coupon booklets.

  • usable in QLD? thanks!!

  • lol. One could photoshop the expiry dates on the .pdf if they really wanted to!

  • +2

I still remember when the two whoppers were $3.45 for two.
I think it started at $2.95 for the two whopper.
    Quite a price jump.

  • -1

just tried at hungry jacks hoddle st, did not accept. boo hoo

    • What did you try? Black and white?

  • Thanks for this OP. And good first post :D

  • +6

Hungry Jacks Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast, drive thru, say 'I have the voucher for ….' and they never ask for the coupon at the window. Been 4 times in the last 2 weeks for 2 whoppers, sweet as bro.

  • +1

Bah, thats nothing, i remember 50c cheeseburgers and 30c ice cream cones from Maccas

    • 30c cones from hungryjacks

  • :( No Veggie Whoppers.

    • 2 flame grilled whoopers for $5.95 can be substituted for two veggie burgers. It is written in the fine print of the coupon.

  • Since Hungry Jack's stopped doing onion rings I haven't been back there.. the burgers just aren't better at Hungry Jack's any more.. :(

    • onion rings just tasted like powder mix anyways

    • HUNGRY JACKS STOPPED DOING ONION RINGS?!?!?!

      • They are on their website, but went to 3 places in Perth about a month ago, one just said 'we don't have onion rings' like they never had them in the first place, and finally the last place we went to said they're no longer doing them. We were devo'd!

        • they still do them in QLD :D

  • When footy tipping was on I was redeeming the free whoppers coupons at my local HJ's, 10 copies from the office printer ensured free meals for just over a week.

    • which probably means you needed ozBargain sourced toilet paper to help attend to the end result of your week's worth of "quality" meals

      • Hey it still works out cheaper ;)

  • Hi, do any of you know which store/s in Sydney accept the print out vouchers?
I went to 2 George St. Hungry Jacks and they did not accept them (even though they're colored)…
    Thanks
