  • Does this work? Experiences please?

    • YouTube review

Like because this is washable as compared to the others. Hence the tyre is repairable after use according to review

Let you know when I have a puncture…

  • This did not work for me at all. It did nothing but spew white foam out of the hole. Inspecting the mess it made, the foam had no discernible properties. It didn't have any stickiness or feel. Didn't change consistency in air or rubbed.

    • Then what happened? Did you have to get the jack out and put the spare tyre on?

Showing my age now. Cars don't have spare tyres and jacks now I've heard.

      • -1

Motorbikes haven't carried a spare since the 1930s.

    • How big was the hole?

      • Screw puncture. Nasty business

It’s only a temporary solution. It’s supose to get u back driving for few Kms or so til u can get the tyre properly repaired or replaced. Therefore I don’t get how this saves one $1000 dollars lll

Save as to compare with a set of 4 run flat tyres $1600. $600 for normal tyres.

Will it work on a bicycle tyre?

1 for $14 on ebay if you want to test it out xD

  • I have used this product and it worked well. Sealed a tyre that had a screw through it and was constantly going flat. Purchased last time from repco 3 for $20 .

    • I imagine you took the screw out before injecting this product yeah? So this product worked day or two until you got puncture repaired, or permanent fix?

      • Yep removed screw and used product. Was fine for 2 months till had all new tyres put on anyway.

  • Tyre outlets will hate you for this one simple trick…

    • Why? You usually still need to get your tyre repaired or new tube put in.

Probably because it's unpleasant dealing with the chemical inside. When I used to work as a tyre fitter, I had one of these come in for a repair and I didn't know it had a can of some chemical sealer in it. I broke the seal and the fumes got me in the face. Felt like my face was on fire for a few seconds.

        • Good point, they would hate that.

Were you able to repair the puncture, or easier to put a tube in it?

          • @ozhunter68: If any tyre place fits a tube in a car tyre you need to find a new tyre dealer. Tubes are dangerous on car tyres due to the fact that if it gets punctured it will go down instantly. Tubeless is 100's of times safer than tubed, on car tyres, more convenient more reliable and cheaper.

            • @whitey: Thanks for info. It actually has been a few decades since I had my last inner tube put into a car tyre and have not been asked for that option in a long time.

Maybe in the days of re-treads and/or many people running old/worn tyres to the end like many people did few decades ago the option of repairing a puncture/worn/leaking tyre with an inner tube was reasonable and a viable option.

Now so many people just get new tyres, or if in good condition is repaired properly in the best way like you say.

  • When doing long distance, these give you peace of mind for the times you had a flat and changed your tyre, and you realise you still have a long drive before chance of repair. Years ago I had two flat tyres in a few days and have heard of two in same day.
