I don't think it's a great deal, but what's wrong with the brand. I've been happy with the SP SSD I bought and I hadn't heard anything bad about them?
My impression was that they're a long-standing, broadly respected Taiwanese budget brand, cheap but not too nasty, known for a good returns process. Thousands of reviews for their products on amazon, mostly 4.5+
I certainly prefer other brands for performance but for the right price, this would be fine.
