My 2 cents on these headphones
AKG The ear cups are soft and the overall headphone design is light and sturdy. The cups do not envelope the entire ear rather sit on it. I was unable to use them for more than 2 hrs as they started becoming uncomfortable although they did an excellent job keeping the ears warm. The sound is crisp and clear but the bass is not the best. Iv been charging them on and off and cant comment on battery life. The other thing I found annoying was when listening to a podcast that your streaming, sometimes the audio would skip or randomly jerk like in a CD player only when I started running. It could be either because the streaming quality was poor or because the bluetooth connection was unstable while running. (Connected with Huawei P30 pro)

Pixel Buds
Pros: Very comfy for longer wearing. The string is handy to hand around your neck
Nice clear crisp sound. Bass is average
Compact enough to carry the case in your pocket
Audio doesn't lag or jerk when running like the AKG did sometimes

Cons: The fabric case feels flimsy
The headphones are hard to place in your ears and you keep accidentally touching the "pause" when positioning it correctly inside the ear
Bass is average
Hard to pair and cannot pair the buds without the case
The touch controls on the buds for vol up/down are hit and miss

    Not a deal - demo phones are usually connected 24/7 to a charger which is not good for the battery, also display is usually on too which is not good for the display

    Secondly, used phones are MUCH cheaper and these phones have been known to sell for similar or less brand new

    Thirdly, insufficient quantity

          not gonna touch an ex demo phone at this price…

          these phones probably get abused worst than a second hand phone..

          and as someone said above
          these are on all the time
          with the charger connected..

          battery would probably be pretty shit by now as well as the display being on all the time
          and abused by all the random customers..
          this means the internal parts are more worn out than second hand phones..

    Terrible deal, can be found cheaper on gumtree and in barely used condition and only a few weeks old or even new ones might even come down to this price, demo phones are abused in stores and kids touch it all over and hit the phone when the rage in a game they installed on the phone and batteries are toast from constantly being on the charger.
    Phonebot is known for selling phones at a Jacked up price and a store rep is paid to advertise elsewhere and chooses to advertise on Ozbargain.

    All the neg votes seem a bit harsh, yeah this is a pretty terrible deal for the Pixel4 compared to previous deals, but generally deals from Phonebot are not bad

      Thanks mate. Iv seen all my pixel deals have had some strong criticism which is ok. When I post, I do my research and try to negotiate the lowest price at the time of posting. Now the Vodafone deal was awesome but tbh when it was valid, I rocked up at the voda store and they told me the price $599 was with a 36 month contract and if I cancel it before ill have to pay full price. Iv read in the comments section that people has cancelled the contracts next day and only paid $599 for it, good on them. Nonetheless that deal is now expired for some time and Pixel 4's are still retailing between $849-$1100

    i use the akg nc700 extensive and can't find a flaw of it regarding sound build quality and noise cancellation, highly highly recommended——at the price of 99 (coz that's wha i paid for it) at 149… well it's ok price.

    Considering how often Google phones die - I'd be paying more and get the 2 year warranty

      I agree about the Nexus issues - great phones until the boot looping started.
      My experience with Pixels have been much better though - still loving my P2 (and still getting regular Android updates on it).

    Negged - Ex-Demo phones probably need a battery replacement within a year.
    At a 15% discount from brand new, that's absolutely not worth it. Not even considering the phones will never assemble as well thus becoming more fragile post-battery replacement.

      Not only that, I sometimes brand new sealed ones on gumtree for the same price (sometimes), slightly more, like $30 more or even cheaper (if you get the 64gb model) This is terrible in comparison to that. I think everyone should stay away from demo phones, especially at this Jacked up price
