  • Been using mine for about 8 years… difference between German vs Chinese.

    • Was the black pro 2 2000 a made in China product?

      • The black pro 2 2000 is made in Germany too; just checked mine (it’s about a year old). I’ve been using Oral-b electric toothbrushes for many years now and I must say the longevity of the Li-Ion battery compared to the old Ni-MH battery is a revelation. Longevity between charges and it’s ability to retain usable capacity as it ages.

        • Does Pro2 2000 use the same Li-Ion battery as the Pro 700? I think they are both Li-Ion batteries but I read someone saying that the battery in Pro2 2000 is better? Can anyone confirm?

  • Much difference to the pro 700?

    • Maybe not noticeable in terms of speed but it has a better Li battery which should last up to 2 weeks plus a light for the pressure sensor.

  • Missed the last offer and already have the case. Ordered up this one. Thank you

  • Bought from last deal, I had the basic vitality model from woolworths, so much better, gives alert every 30seconds (each section) and only needs to be charged once a week

  • Coming soon at Aldi as well

    • Free delivery included so skip the lines at aldi

I wouldn't fret about no travel case - I have one from the Pro 800 and it's just a clear hard plastic case which may or may not get used.

It's not particularly compact either so don't see myself ever really using it.

    • They are a tad bulky, but still worth it. Nothing worse than arriving at a destination to find that the brush got turned on during transport and now has a flat battery. Speaking from experience here.

That or being very embarrassed when going through security and realising the toothbrush has somehow been switched on and making a lot of noise.

        Speaking from experience here…

I could just imagine the Airport security.
          Sure a "tooth brush"
          Sure… "cavities"

  • Thanks OP. Purchased under the first deal (with travel case) for my wife and was blown away by how good it was. Purchased another for myself.

  • Noob alert, but how do you get the welcome code? Do I need to create an account first and then the code gets emailed to me?

    • +2

Open the website using incognito. A pop up should occur and you get the code after signing up.

  • How is this compared to the Phillips Sonicare range? My Phillips sonicare diamond clean toothbrush is broken after 4 years and it’s so expensive to replace us ($369).
