Free Delivery (No Min Spend) at The Cheesecake Shop via Menulog

700

I was looking for something to use the daily $5 off Menulog voucher on and noticed The Cheesecake Shop is doing free delivery with no minimum spend if it's of interest to anyone. Can get a $5.95 cupcake delivered for $0.95.

If you check the 'for you' section of the app between 4pm-6pm AEST Mon-Thurs, you might have $5 off coupon there to use with it. You can also check here but I find the app is more reliable. Some stores also have a 10% off first order offer.

Edit: Stack with targeted Menulog deals. CommBank Rewards - $10 Cashback on $25+ Spend @ Menulog or 25% off $40 (Minimum Spend) via Citibank @ Menulog. Thanks Koipanda.

Also $10 cashback on $25+ spend on CBA, activate at rewards section. Not bad to get a full sized cake!

    • Sad my local cheesecake shop doesnt have menulog

    • Well spotted, that will stack with any Menulog discounts as well.

Sorry! I'm bad at acronyms. But what is CBA?

Might also be Commonweath Bank of Australia, considering the context though.

    • Oh god, don't tell me that. I'll be eating a cheesecake to myself by the end of the week

The one in my area has grossly overinflated prices on menulog.

    • +1

Ah yeah same here, I only looked at Cupcakes which were only $1 more. Might not be any good for larger orders then.

Same in my area, the prices for cakes are almost $15 - $20 more on menulog than local store prices:-(

    • Creamy Caramel $31.95 in store or $48.95 menulog. Not a bargain for me im afraid at my store.

Its quite common for platforms like menulog, uber eats, doordash to inflate prices by about 25-30%. Whenever I go to pickup my order, they tell me to call and order directly as I can avoid the excess charges. One of the restaurateur explained that to me. Its the usual middleman commission. Obviously these platforms are businesses and they need to make money. It makes sense if you can't pickup. But if picking up then ordering directly from any of these restaurants will most likely be better than any deals offered by these platforms

But having 1 cupcake delivered to you at 0.95 has its distinct pleausres :-) that is unmatched

Seems okay until you check the inflated prices, at least for all of them around me.

$29 for a cheesecake pickup, $49 not including delivery via apps.

  • For me its all Taco bell, GYG and Cheesecake shop free delivery

Rolld has free delivery too, goes with happy hour $5 voucher

    • Thanks for the Reminder, posted now, waited until 4pm for potential stack with teh voucher.

I had used that a couple days ago myself with the 10% off first order.

  • What’s the $5 voucher ?

    • If you check the 'for you' section of the app between 4pm-6pm AEST Mon-Thurs, you might have $5 off coupon there to use with it. You can also check here but I find the app is more reliable.

  • My local cheesecake shop has removed that 5.95 cupcake temporarily. What a shame!

    • Ah that's no good. Looks like they are still available at my local (for now).

    • My local still has it, but I'm a bit spooked by the fact that some shops are temporarily removing the cupcake.

Can anyone in the know confirm whether it's the franchisee or the Cheesecake Shop company who takes the hit in the event that I order a $0.95 cupcake as part of the 4pm-6pm happy hour deal?

Of course Menulog takes the hit for the $5, but who takes the hit for the delivery fee?
