Warlock of Firetop Mountain brings me back to Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone adventure books!

Hopefully they were hired as consultants for this! Do you know if they were involved at all (or at least getting royalty from it)?

@Lysander, have you tried it? Some things are better kept as nostalgia, so not sure how it'll play in todays technology.. (all fingers used as bookmarkers)

I have played Warlock and really liked it. But I can't vouch for the degree of proper adaptation as I am not familiar with the original adventure books.

Australian production company by the look of things:

        Sounds decent from this review:

Can't really go too wrong for three dollars fifty…

It looks like Fighting Fantasy books cross Hero Quest. I might have to look at some reviews, thanks for bringing it to my attention. I've played Sorcery!, but it didn't have that same feel.

Thanks for the links @elkherd, saved me a few clicks. I think I'll part with the few $! :D

        • cool to see FF books mentioned… spent a bit of time with them back in the day but haven't thought about them in years…

  • Flashback is 455MB? Yikes. I think it was 12mbit on the megadrive.

    • I used to play it on a couple of floppys on Amiga 500
