          Also looking at the Crayola product the other difference is the color assortment, BIC has some metallic crayons in their box.

          Depends on what you need.

  Cheap ones don't really work well, trouble is, I can't tell if these are cheap

  Crayola seem to work ok, I have an off brand that is absolute shite.

  CCC says it was $3.76 in May. $8 is just the MSRP. It's like Moccona, Morning Fresh and Blackmores on "sale" at "half price" every other week at Coles.
