Just noticed that Starcraft II is now Free to Play. There are probably parts that needs to be paid, but it looks like you can enjoy much of the game without paying a single cent now.
Used to play the games back in the day, so this is a little trip down memory lane for me. Enjoy !

Only the Wings of Liberty campaign is free, still have to purchase the remaining two single player campaigns. Unless you're more interested in arcade/multiplayer, then go nuts.

I'd be pro CCP too if half my corporations revenue was expected to come from China over the next few decades.
Yeah, that's a fair argument, and that's a risk companies should take into account. If your majority income/supply chain is from China, their government can one day just arbitrarily cut you off just like how USA blocked Google exporting software to Huawei, and look what happened to them.

Yep, arcade/custom games and versus mode (unranked/ranked) is completely free.
The first campaign Wings of Liberty (decent ~20 hour terran campaign) is free.
3 commanders (essentially sub-factions with unique twists on the base race) in the co-op mode (Raynor, Artanis, Kerrigan), whilst all the other commanders are free to try up to level 5.

$22.95 for all 3 campaigns, nova corps and 4 commanders for co-op is very good deal. It's a bit unfortunate that the other commanders aren't on sale. I'd love to pickup the 2 other zerg commanders.

I am still waiting for a decent sale on Diablo 3. The game is 8 years old. Such a stingy company.
They do 50% 3 to 4 times a year. last time was in July. $15 for base game, $30 for battle chest, $45 for eternal collection.
