Been keeping an eye out for the LG27GL850 but prices have been sky high since the last $699 on Amazon. I saw the S2721DGF paper release last month and was interested. Saw the Coupon code and it took it down from $629 to $534.66. The panels are supposedly the same as the LG27GL850 but you'll have to put up with the Dell aesthetic. Dell also seems to have excellent warranty service so that's a plus. It seems to be an great buy for creatives as well since it covers 98% DCI-P3.

          Yeah that’s strange, where does it say pending financial verification? Did you buy it on a pre existing business account?

            @stuffedcrust: When I click the order details link in the confirmation email, it brings me to the order status page. It says there: "Status: Processing - Pending Finance". clearance. But yeah, like I said, I personally received an email from Dell asking me to respond to their email which I find strange.

      I had the same happen to me with one of my orders, but my card wasn't charged. I just ordered again and then it was confirmed and I submitted a ticket to make sure the other one doesn't go through.

      Ordered 3 of the other monitors on sale from Dell, and only had confirmation for 2 so I had to call and after a long time of saying they can't find the 3rd, they asked me to do payment for 3rd and then got the confirmation email. (I called them)

    Had an issue with payment, called to manually process - ETA for next shipment is 9/10/2020. Sales rep confirmed they got ozb'd with little to no stock left. Also confirmed ECU5 code was for Edith Cowan students only (https://intranet.ecu.edu.au/student/support/it-services/buyi…) - gave the impression orders using that code wouldn't be honored.They asked for a screenshot to confirm the discounted price (using auaffiliates15%off), and otherwise sounded like they were after the full $1229 amount.

            @locknuts: I'm gonna say it's more IPS glow. Again I don't sit in a dark room to play/work so it's a bit difficult to tell. Colour reproduction is great though.

              @richh1833: i think mine looks more like a bleed but i have 2. one is more like an ips glow which is super normal.

              I am getting replacement on one of them as the monitor colour is off by quite a bit (red tin through out the display)

                @sushimaster: have you tried colour calibrating? Mine definitely has a pink hue but my other editing monitor has a green hue so it's really difficult to match colours.

          I've never personally owned a Dell monitor. I was actually eyeing the VA Gigabyte for ~$500 for a month now. A Dell monitor feels like an Apple product (back in the day of iPhone 4) to me I guess. What's the chance of them exceeding expectation and deliver 2 weeks earlier?

      Hugely disappointing. Sep would have been nice.

    Since shipment has now been delayed for over 2 months. Anyone has any experience as to if there's anything extra we can get from Dell to sweeten the deal?

    Looks like we'll be getting the cashrewards.com.au before we get the monitor. If you cancel after you get it, think of it as ~20% pa interest on your investment

    Seems right since lead time for monitors is 8-12 weeks…

          Yeh, works with some stores but not with Dell anymore.
          I ordered a monitor using the auaffilates and EPP5 codes and thought i'd try it and it tracked, but after 1-2 weeks, it changed to declined. It used to be able to be combined though as i ordered something a few months before that and got both code discount and cashrewards.
          I think people started asking if they would combine when the auaffilaites, EPP5 and honey7 codes came out and TA checked with Dell which made them aware of the loophole.

        Got it today!
        But one problem, I genuinely thought it would still come in October as my shipping status never changed (you know how fast AusPOST are), so in anticipation I sold my Nvidia RTX 2080 GPU so I can grab the upcoming RTX 3070 to pair with this monitor, which also comes out in October.

        So I can't really play anything with my temporary Nvidia GT 1030.

    I had mine yesterday 16/09/2020 the delivery date was 19/10/2020 … unfortunately my unite had an issue which there is some pixels glowing with read light only when I run a video especially if the video has some dark images… did anyone of you had the same problem with the monitor?

    Got mine on Friday 25/9/20 instead of October so a month ahead (in spite of it being late). My cashback did not track so logged a claim to Cashrewards manually. I wonder if warranty starts from invoice date or delivery date as I don't want to be screwed out of almost 2 month's of warranty.

    Is there any special settings I need to use for this monitor (that anyone recommends for gaming?)
