High IQ?
These are some of the accepted IQ tests for Mensa membership.
How much did you pay for yours?
I don't know my "IQ" but I know that I'm susceptible to the Dunning Kruger effect. I'm not sure what "overworking" your brain means. Is it akin to "overclocking" a computer?
Football Manager
Mahjong or Nicolet.jp google play apps have some free escape games that are cute and very nicely put together.
Also, It's not a real-game-game but if you like learning its just as challenging, insightful and fulfilling to run around the stackexchange sites reading/answering questions from their sites like codegolf.stackexchange, physics.stackexchange or math.stackexchange (whichever takes your fancy). I particularly enjoy spending time browsing worldbuilding.stackexchange and english.stackexchange
I usually go for games that i can sink my teeth into that present a challenge.
Railway Empire (think you can get it on Humble Bundle still).
Surviving Mars
Stellaris (highly recomended)
Game of thrones
Jumanji
Including the tabletop platform? There are plenty of interesting strategy board games around. I like playing Scythe and Terraforming Mars.
Depending on your level of covid restrictions, there should public board game groups in every city to find people to play with if you're not too concerned about which game you play.
If your intention is to master a single game though, you might get bored beating everyone. That's not really how people play in my group.
EROGE…
Zork I
Foldit. I can't play it for longer than 30 minutes because it breaks my mind.
Candy Crush
Stardew Valley with the Horse Boys mod.
Go, Chess, and there are other difficult board games, most of which are war themed: Advanced Squad Leader, Europa Universalis, Magic Realm…
Actually, here’s a list: https://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/183401/heaviest-25-games-…
The Talos Principle has challenging puzzles with an equally provoking philosophical backdrop and narrative. My only gripe is the puzzles kept me too long between chatting with your virtual character and lead to me forgetting where our discussion was at, at times.
Professor Layton series on DS
Alchemy. Simple enough but can still take some thinking for the hundreds of combinations to create.
Wingspan
Ozbargains's bargain hunt
So it is high IQ big brain video-based interactive experiences that you seek? Look no further my friend, for I have collated an exquisite collection of titles for you that would even push the collective efforts of Mensa.
glad someone eventually said Eve. took long enough.
I Want To Be The Guy: Gaiden
Have you ever played diplomacy? It's a boardgame but there is an online version of it. I think it is my favourite strategy boardgame because there is no luck involved at all. It's all about negotiations, trust/mistrust, and making/breaking alliances.
Death squared game.
My two cents, if you're still looking for recommendations:
The Talos Principle
Stellaris
Human Resource Machine
Outer Wilds (not Outer Worlds) is a beautiful game that might tickle your fancy. It's a puzzle / exploration game.
Endless space 2
Starcraft 2 - its very difficult to get to Master's league let alone Grandmaster.
Monopoly
Untitled Goose Game. Absolutely mindblowing
The Ultimate Test…
Leisure Suit Larry
Works both brains
I would argue Dota 2. It's like chess with 100+ unique pieces with each having more than 4 skills. Add the fact that you have to play with 4 other players in order to win. The barrier for entry to that game is massive.
Dota is sort of like Warcraft 3 lite edition. No need for resource management and build queues, plus you only need to control only one unit in attacking or defending vs 100.
Return of the Obra Dinn
+1
Difficult game; likely to roll OP.
Kerbal Space Program.
Something not mentioned yet are Sporcle quizzes https://www.sporcle.com
You can find a topic you're interested in and do quizzes about it.
I like doing the 'name every country' sorts of ones in the Geography section. So far I can pretty much name the entire world except for Africa which I'm still practicing: https://www.sporcle.com/games/category/geography?sortBy=allt…

No moving, scrolling, zooming on diverse world - now that's a challenge.

Overcooked.
This will really challenge your management skills.
and friendships
Slay the Spire gets the ol' noggin joggin'.
Starts off pretty easy but once you get to high ascension levels + go for heart kills, it can get incredibly tactical.
My choice is Civilization 3 and Civilization 6 with all addons, though you'll need a couple of days to finish one session. Same with Crusader Kings 2 (also with all addons). Portal dilogy has more action oriented puzzles, also you may play part two with a friend.
