Have been using these for years (eBay). Great "light". Included 18650 batteries typically degrade fast after a few charges (rubbish batteries). Bought quality 18650s instead (more $ than torch itself) and on low mode lasts all night with solid lumen output.

They don't like getting wet. Have had them go into SOS mode and get stuck flashing SOS. Spray from a kayak paddle or light rain can do it. In good weather they are brilliant. They don't last forever and I consider them expendible.

    • +1

Which version? The normal or the induction?

      • Our headlamp support IPX4 waterproof.

    • Bought one of these, just arrived. Compared to my existing ones this one:
Has what appears to be two small LEDs above the main light. Not sure how to activate. No instructions.
Long press activates blue back light rather than SOS mode.
Has auselect branding on side light shaft
Button is not spongy like others, very defined click

  • Ended up buying one anyway, need one now that I've seen this.

False Advertising with a fake LED. The Cree XML- T6 has been out of production for a long time since 2017.

    Cree now has a XML-3.

    • We have the test report of the headlamp. So there is no problem with the items.

      • The LED you are claiming to use in this light no longer exists. If you have a generic LED In the light who cares but don't claim it's a Cree XML- T6 when it is not. Your damn listing even says it's a Toshiba LED which I highly doubt. Why come on here and lie?

These types of lights are pretty good value for money. I'm on my second one (similar but not the same).

They are bright and great for working on the car. The batteries tend to discharge quickly, but at least you can recharge them or swap in some that you've harvested from old laptop batteries.

I have one with 6 leds but only use it on the single led as that's bright enough.

The ones on ebay come with usb charger why does this have a wall plug

    • it's 2 versions.
USB charger can use Mirco USB cable & charger. May you not buy the new plug, because there has a lot of chargers in the home.
This version has its own charger.
The 2 versions finally the same, but 2 different charging way

    Is the T6 any good?
Is it worth to buy higher lumen version
    Such as
    5 mode for extra $6 with 6000lumen
    Or
4 mode for extra $1 with 6000 lumen

    ?

    • +1

      6000 lumen….no way?! really…?

      • +2

Yes, really… if you believe in fairy tales.

    • +1

I had that one. Button broke.

Not worth the extra money. If using as a work light then a single led is enough. They are very bright. Additional led only make it slightly brighter at higher battery consumption

    • 6000 lumens is not true.

If it really 6000 lumens, it can fire the paper… you can find some test video on youtube.

here is product official T6 CREE info link

Here is the title of the product
"AUSELECT Waterproof 3LED Headlamp 4 Modes 6000 Lumen Flashlight T6 Headlight Helmet Light for Hunting Camping Running Outdoor Sports (Gold Plated)"
I am confused, is that 6000 Lumen or not?

        • -2

          tks for your notice.

the t6 theoretical value is 2K lumens with a higher power. but in fact, 1000 lumens max with 2*18650 battery.

the headlamp has 3 * led.

We think it's wrong display from Amazon front desk display. We already described the correct lumen in the amazon system but officially announced 48hours active updating.
