30% off Swiss-Made Watches (E.g. NOVE Streamliner from $240.80 Delivered) @ NOVE

M30

I saw the NOVE Rocketeer range advertised in the newsletter with the M30 code granting 30% off, but I tried it on their cheaper Streamliner range, too, and it still worked. Also verified to work on the Trident and Craftsman ranges as well.

They talk up the 'Swiss made' thing a bit, but I wonder if it's really just the movement and the rest of it is sourced elsewhere. If they are completely made in Switzerland then they're possibly the least expensive Swiss watches I've seen (apart from Swatch, which I don't like).

Streamliner pre-discount prices range from AU$344-$395.

Rocketeer is AU$533-$653 and each watch comes with three straps: leather, silicon, and stainless steel.

Trident is AU$632-$744 and is their dive watch with 200m water resistance.

Craftsman are $AU751-$814 and feature a wooden bezel & removable crown.

Shipping is free worldwide. Code expires 30 September.

Empowering the idea that living in time is more meaningful than telling it, our vision is to remind everyone about the excitement of life, to remember to enjoy the charms of the present. So we eliminated the second hand. It's hard enough to have life measured in minutes, we figure.

Ahahaha you can't make this up. This is a new low even for shitty Insta mushroom brands.

"Swiss movement" might be true but completely meaningless, it's a Ronda Quartz movement that costs about $6 wholesale.

    • Interesting. I wonder if it's a variation of the Ronda slimtech 1000 series?

      • I would assume it's whatever one they got cheapest by the crate. Not that there is anything wrong with them.

It's Daniel Wellington with a "Made in Switzerland" tag.

But yeah agreed, classic Ronda Quartz movement.

Although even then the quartz movements in some Tag's are apparently only worth something like $25..

Just goes to show how much a brand/marketing is worth and the idiots (me) that buys into their philosophy

A primer on how to do it yourself

      • Okay, I admit, that was a great read. I stand corrected - perhaps I was a bit hasty thinking this was actually a 'deal' but, in retrospect, it's just another 'brand' and not actually a decent real watch. In fact, while reading that article I'm fairly sure I spotted the very same case used by the NOVE Streamliner. Go figure, eh?

  • is this another daniel wellington diver version? i would stay away from it….

Who is going to pay that coin for a no name? They are taking the piss surely. They are betting big on the Swiss factor… and then you see the Rhonda quartz. Just a get a cheap Citizen, Orient or Seiko.
