** ITEM RESTOCKED 10/8/20 21/8/20 BUT PRODUCT #3 (Pharmacy Action Paracetamol) MAY BE SUBSTITUTED WITH ANOTHER BRAND OF PARACETAMOL TABLET (PARACETAMOL 500mg) 24 PACK - PLEASE PM IF YOU ARE CONCERNED - I IMAGINE 99% OF CLIENTS WONT CARE WHICH BRAND THE PARACETAMOL IS **

Hi Team,

A cold, wet weekend in Adelaide means there wont be ANY customers in the store tomorrow, so I thought I may as well spend my hours packing product for Ozbargainers while at work.

Even though most supplier discounts for Hayfever lines have now concluded for the year one of my favourite reps over at Pharmacor has extended an offer to me exclusively for Ozbargainers !! TRUST is considered by some to be at the premium end of the generics, its one of our top eBay selling brands.

So tonight I thought I'd throw together a bundle deal to see if Ozbargains insatiable appetite for Fexofenadine Hydrochloride and its little foil sealed friends has yet been quenched.

  • 100Tabs Fexit, Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 180mg (Generic Telfast)
  • 50Tabs Cetirizine Hydrochloride 10mg (Generic Zyrtec)
  • 24Tabs Pharmacy Action Paracetamol 500mg

Ordered from last deal, shipping is fast to Mel Metro. Great price for generic fexo. However, it could be me, while active ingredient is the same, I found that Telfast last longer (same mg). But for the price, would order again.

    • +3

I seem to get immune to each brand and need to change it up every few months. Even telfast seems to loose its power after a while but when I take a few month off that brand it starts working fine again.

Also it’s probably all in my head.

      • +1

Nope its common and people need to find the one that works and/or switch it up. Loratadine and pseudoephedrine work for me while others are either useless or have side effects 💁‍♀️

        • agreed. Fexo doesn't work with my partner only Cetirizine does.

    • Yeah same here. Generics don't seem to work but Telfast and Zyrtec do for me. Same as Claratyne, it doesn't do jack. I just switch it up from Telfast to Zyrtec. Chemist warehouse is apparently doing a telfast 70 pack cashback scheme at the end of this month so i'm about to gear up for that.

    • Take an extra tablet

    • +1

Nope not just you. I'm pretty sure it's the inactive ingredients: binders/fillers/colours/preservatives that might slightly change the way medicines work in some people.

  • -6

Apparently Trump says it cures Corona

    • -1

      That’s hand sanitizer

  • +4

Ordered more generic Telfast, thanks OP. Good idea to flat pack and keep postage down.

  • +1

    Nice one OP

  • +1

Hey OP, any possibility of putting together a deal for Ibuprophen at some point? If you want to bundle an antihistamine with it my personal preference is either Loratadine or Desloratadine.

    • OK let me work on it - thanks for the suggestion.

      • That would be great. Thanks!

  • Good deal but it sucks when generics don't do the job as well as the original.

    • +12

If they have the same active ingredient its really not possible they, "don't do the same job".

      • +1

Maybe their adherence to exact doses of active ingredient is less stringent though - wider tolerance?

I agree with some other posts - the generics I have tried (not yours) don’t protect me as well as the well-known Sanofi branded Telfast.

    • +9

Please contact me to resolve any issues. I am always happy to assist, our phone number is listed on our website or you can PM me, just checking my messages I cannot see that you have contacted us, if i'm in error I'll obviously rectify any issue once I am aware of it.

    • +8

Posting on a Forum about an incorrect order rather than directly with the shop/rep makes no sense - complain without giving them a chance to resolve.

Jason is doing a great job

      • They are running a pharmacy. More quality control is needed. Are they even checking what drugs they are posting?!

  • +1

Why two different antihistamines, can you mix them?

    • +8

fexo (telfast generic) is third generation antihistamine that doesn't has drowsiness effect whereas cetirizine is second generation which may cause drowsiness side effect. But cetirizine is more effective with suppressing histamine

      • +2

Oh, right. I normally take fexo (generic stuff from the chemist) but maybe I need to grab some cetirizine as backup for the bad days…

      • Telfast or Fexit works very well for me with zero side effects.
Zytec or Ceririzine…good grief, I become an emotionless robot and have trouble peeing. Apparently, one of the side effects I get is prostrate enlargement that then constricts the urinary tract, I kid not!

        • Sounds like a fun Saturday night!

  • +1

    Thanks OP :)

  • Thanks OP, got fexo cos lorra doesn't do much to me. I got hay fever all year around…lucky me

literally spat out my corn flakes when I read this. Lol

    • +4

      Idiot

    • Maybe if I stop eating handfuls of pollen I won't get hayfever.

      thanks for the advice!

  • Hi rep, may I know what the expiry dates are for these tablets? Thanks.

    • +2

Howdy, just grabbed some random boxes (they should all be the same or very similar)

      Fexit: 02/23
      Cetirizine: 11/21
      Paracetamol: 10/22

  • Hi Jason, am looking for chewable antihistamines for my kids (they hate syrup versions but would pretend to be sick to get the chewies).
Would you consider adding some kids Claratyne or equivalent to your web store? Thanks!

  • +1

    Fexit means Fexit!

  • Any chance of restocking the trust combo or am I too late?

    • Hi, I’ll pack all Ozb orders and if I’ve got stock left I’ll add more. Please log a comment below if you’d like to be notified if restocked.

      • Thank you.

        • OK I did a quick reconciliation, I have enough for another 20 combo's - more stock added

      • yes please

        • Hi - you have PM's turned off, stock added.

      • Yes thanks!

        • +1

Ditto - PM's off, stock added

      • Please! and thank you.

      • Yessir.

Are there any generic multivitamins, iron supplements.

  • Thanks OP, perfect timing for Victorians (the hub of allergies)

  • Where is the Chemists' Own C-Zine (Zyrtec Generic) made?

  • -5

I ordered 150x LORATADINE (GENERIC CLARATYNE) and they sent me 100 loratadine and 50 CETRINE….all my packets were also open… Would not recommend

. A pharmacy needs better quality control than this!

    • whats the point of reposting the exact same comment…. Contact them directly is a no brainer mate, this aint your support page.

    • +2

I am standing by ready to receive a PM to fix any issue related to your order.

  • From one pharmacist to another, why would you want to sell 2 antihistamines in a package?

Also you claim trust is at the top end of generics. Lets not kid ourselves. The generics are all the same quality, as is the originator… I'm actually quite appalled that you would try to suggest there is any significant difference between all these generic brands…

    • +5

My 2c as to why I consider Trust a premium generic. (and note I did say "some consider" Trust to be a premium generic brand in the description).

Trust Fexit: Gluten Free, Sucrose Free, Lactose Free - Not all brands provide this assurance.
Trust Fexit: Foil Box, Comprehensive product description on box - Not all brands try to present in this manner, most generics are white box forgetables.
Trust: Multiple box sizes available - Not all brands try to offer box sizes to cater to differing markets ie/ 100 Packs for online sellers
Trust: The brand tries hard to carry its name forward in high esteem so it is asked for BY NAME by clients - not many generics have this power.
Local rep support and marketing support for resellers and customers, not all brands are well supported by reps who offer support and are able to offer Q&A's about their own products.

So on reflection, its not all about the actual active ingredient - its the whole package of whats on offer that is Premium.

In relation to why 2 antihistamines are sold as a combo. I'm trying to give customers what they ask for while also moving sufficient volume of product to obtain preferential pricing to other stores. The old stuffy pharmacist in a white coat who stares down his nose at clients while making $20-30 profit per box of Fexofenadine is going the way of the dinosaur.

      • Man, I just have to log in and give you +1 for the last sentence as Walter White can outdone any pharmacists on cooking and chemistry and yet he does not have such attitude.

  • Dumb question but thinking about quantity per pack - is there anything bad about taking antihistamines daily to get through the season..

    • +1

A great question for your GP!

    • best to ask GP but as per my experience goes, I take Telfast daily to help my itchy and stuffy nose and I don't notice any side effect but that's vary between individual.

    • No issues except you might build up a tolerance to it which will reduce its effectiveness.

  • +1

Looks like a awesome deal, thanks OP.

  • Will this cause Frexit? (French Exit)

  • +1

Legend thanks Jason, just ordered my next lot of fexo!

  • +1

Any chance of running this again OP.

    • Thanks for the message - On your message I have contacted our suppliers. The supplier of the Hayfever items has agreed to release more stock at the price which allowed this deal to run, the Paracetmol supplier has not - I will add more stock now, but please note:

** EDIT 10/8/20 PRODUCT #3 MAY BE SUBSTITUTED WITH ANOTHER BRAND OF PARACETAMOL TABLET (PARACETAMOL 500mg) 24 PACK DEPENDING ON STOCK AVAILABILITY **

  • Hi OP, how long does shipping usually take to Sydney metro? Ordered on 7/8/2020 and haven't yet received.

    • edit: Received 17/8/2020, so all good. :)

  • +1

Great that’s for letting me know, I’m getting literally hundreds of “where’s my item” type emails, damn Aussie post really slow at the moment.

  • Hi OP,

Could you please advise the expiry date for the Chemists' Own C-Zine?

  • Hi Jason:

Wondering do you have tracking no available ? I ordered on 8th August, but haven't received any shipping confirmation yet.

    Paypal transaction ID: 20028181NP712281M

    Thanks

    • Hi MH Please check your hotmail email address (and your junk folder), our system shows we emailed a dispatch confirmation. 4.19pm on the day of order.

  • I ordered on the 8th of August and still haven't received anything? I've sent follow up emails but no response?

    • Hi - please send a PM, many people think I know who they are when they email me, ie they dont include an order number or their full name - this is hard when just as many clients dont provide an email address when they order on the site (so there is no way to cross reference). Please send a PM via Ozbargain. As best I can see I dont have any unresponded to messages or emails.

  • Is still stock available for the same offer price?

Also, PREDNISOLONE 5mg Tablet strips avaialbl?

    Thanks,
